PERFECT FIT
I've been looking for this type of lid for quite a while! Stumbled upon it & took a measurement of my dish. I have several CorningWare pieces in several sizes. I measured this one, it was 6 inches. I ordered the lid, it fit perfect. I will be ordering another to fit the other dish I have that is exactly like this one.

Good alternative to glass tops
I tend to break the glass tops to my French Corning wear pieces and find them expensive to replace. These work. I do find them tight to get on but once on, work fine.
