Purina Friskies Wet Cat Food Pate With Turkey in Savory Gravy - Extra Gravy (Pack of 24) 5.5 oz. Cans

This is not high quality cat food, but my cats love it. My one cat, Misty, refused to eat anything but this. She wouldn't touch dry food and I tried better quality wet cat food, but she only ate this one. She lived to be 23 when we had to put her to sleep because of cancer. So, if she thrived on this for 23 years, it must be complete nutrition.

We cycle thru the different flavors. Our cat loves this brand, only pate and the gravy is her favorite part.....so this is all we buy

My cats love this flavor gravy only! They only like the gravy. We have tried so many other wet foods.. I wish they would sell the gravy that is in the can.

This was cheaper than some other pate food. My cats would eat this occasionally when I ran out of another brand. It has a strong smell and it was inexpensive. I keep a can for a back up only.

My cats always loved the turkey & giblets pate dinners the best, mixed with warm water for extra gravy.Until Covid and inflation, these smaller-size cans averaged 50 cents each at most places. Now they go from 75 cents to &1.25 per serving can! Normally, this wet food is a treat for my brood of cats, but my oldest has lost a lot of weight and was dehydrated, so I have her on this exclusively now. No more appetite problem! Adding water as " gravy" also gives her the extra hydration she needed.This "extra gravy" version though seems exactly the same as the regular Friskies pate! There is ROOM for more gravy (and pate, for that matter) in the can, but it's the same as all the regular Friskies pate's, and obviously has had the portions reduced so as to jump on the "inflation!"bandwagon. In other words, their ripping us off. Some people have complained in reviews that their cats won't even eat this anymore, as there seems to have been a formula quality change, but my girl Gremlynn had been on dry food for so long, she's just thrilled to have wet!Honestly, it's kind of cheaper to make your own pate' cat food; for example, chicken, rice, & carrots in a blender (NO seasonings, of course!!), and probably healthier too, but they sure do like gravy, which isn't a specialty of mine. However, if these prices don't go down, I will HAVE TO start making my own- I feed 11 cats right now- my own 4, who are all over a decade old now, and 7 left-behind strays all getting close to 9, except one about a year old. As they get older, cheap dry food IS harder on their teeth and organs.The best thing I can say is, Turkey/giblets/gravy seems to be the alltime favorite pate' fromFriskies- I JUST HOPE THEY WILL DEFLATE THE PRICE, & INFLATE THE PORTION, whenever this Covid Chaos gets a little better....
