Long review but I felt the need to give them a fair review.
So i felt the need to write up this detailed review because I noticed the Apevia power supplies have been getting some hate from people who havent actually ever had one or are just PC elitest. You know the type they believe something like it must meet the following 2 requirements or its garbage. #1 be made by one of the top 5 brands and #2 say 80 Plus Silver or better. Also every one of them has been building pc's years and years and this is the one time they decided to go with a cheaper brand even though they knew better and of course it exploded into a million pieces destroying their ultra expensive pc or it caught fire and would have burned down their whole house had it not been for their quick reflexes. No but seriously read through those 1 star reviews and you may find a lot of similarities between them and some hyperbole or just outright lies. I just came across 2 that had pictures which told a different story than what they had stated. One said a capacitor or some other internal part exploded and they added the picture to show the damage to the psu case which was just a couple dents and a cracked paint chip. However if you look close the dent is on the corner and is pushed inward. This of course makes no sense and is more likely they dropped the psu on its corner causing the damage. The other review said when they turned it on there was a lot of sparking inside the psu and a crackling sound could be heard. Maybe this did happen but the pictures they took show absolutely no damage or burn marks. One last one seemed totally legit as it stated the psu died after 1 day. That makes total sense if this was your first time buying and using an Apevia psu the experiwnce wpuld most likely give you a negative feeling about them. Those kind of things happen with electronic devices across all brands its just it happens more often with the cheaper brands. I guess what im trying to get across is dont be put off from considering and/or purchasing Apevia psu's because of a few bad reviews. Now thats all been said here is my honest review of them. This is hands down the best brand for power supplies in this price range ($25-$35). The quality is great and they work well. I say this having bought 5 Apevia psu's, two 450w, two 500w, and a 600w over the years. All of them have worked great with no issues or premature failures by a years time after that I cant verify. In fact the 600w i put in my home pc and it lasted no joke 12 years. Now it was just used in a casual family pc with no major gaming or anything like that but still. That being said there is always the possibility of getting a faulty one but that is just how it goes with electronics. I personally knowing what I know would give them a 2nd chance and get a replacement rather than refund if I got a defective one. Last thing give their LED fans a look as they have a bunch of different colors that it is tough to find anywhere else like yellow and pink. RGB is cool and all but I like having variety and it seems like everyone is moving over to solely RGB LED fans.

Good quality for price!
Great product! Second psu I’ve bought from them. The first was used from Amazon also and it’s running great in my built PC. I use this one for projects and hand drill… it’s got enough amps at 12v for most anything I throw at it. Thanks for the clutch! Used with sensitive equipment and never noticed any issues with variances or voltage sag.

BUYER BEWARE, VERY CHEAP MADE! Died in a Week.
I bought this for a spec build. This brand has been around for some time, especially in OEM budget line pre-built systems. They have a reputation for not only being cheap made, but dying early. This particular one seemed to have decent reviews so I took a chance. Well, I built a flip PC and gave it a try. I sold this less than a week ago and I am now having to replace it as it died. My hope is that it did not take out any other system parts. My recommendation is to stay as far away from these as possible. There are other inexpensive brands with much better reputations. I will never consider this one again!

No Pcie 6 or 8 pin connectors! Single 4+4 cpu connector. Wire length good. Great for home pc
No Pcie 6 or 8 pin connections so no graphics card hook up. 1 4x4 pin cpu connection not 2. Still great for an office or home pc. Very light not much too it. Cables are decent length. Screws and power cord included. I purchased several of these and in the past it did include pcie 6+2 (8 pin ) graphics card wiring but it definitely doesn't now. So the Apevia Ventus 450 and the Apevia Astro 450 psu both do not have graphics card 6+2 (6 or 8 pin ) wiring.

DON'T BUY FOR DEDICATED GPU
It's cheap (which might be a cause for concern on its own), not bad quality in terms of the product itself, not sure about how well it works tho, or if it does at all, bcz I bought it for a dedicated GPU and realized it was for Integrated GPUs after. Pls don't make the same mistake I did guys (ps. I don't recommend cheaping out on PSUs, it could cost you in other ways too).
