Excellent book - really helps to understand ADHD

After discovering I probably have ADHD after training as a counsellor, this was recommended to me as a great book to read to find out more about the condition. It is indeed excellent, and really help me to understand myself as well as my children.

GP's please read this

This book written by two doctors should enlighten GP's and some psychiatrists that ADD is an affliction that CAN affect very bright people. It has been a tremendous help to my PhD son who has ADD and was told he was too bright to have it!!!!!!.

Woefully old-fashioned

Out-of-date, boring, slightly patronising. This book was possibly revolutionart in its day, but not any more. Woefully old-fashioned and highly annoying, filled with its examples of patient encounters with people with Adhd. Read Gabor Mate's book instead
