A compelling option for those seeking feature-rich wireless earphones.
The Realme Buds Wireless 5 ANC are neckband-style Bluetooth earphones that offer a range of features aimed at enhancing the audio experience. Here's an overview based on my experience:Sound Quality and ANC PerformanceUsers have praised the sound quality, noting that the 13.6mm dynamic bass driver delivers deep and punchy bass. The Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is rated at 50dB, effectively reducing ambient noise during commutes and in noisy environments. However, some users feel that while the ANC is good, it may not meet the 50dB claim in all situations.FLIPKARTBattery LifeThe earphones offer up to 38 hours of playback with ANC turned off. With ANC enabled, the battery life decreases, but a quick 10-minute charge can provide up to 20 hours of playback, making them convenient for users on the go.RURAL ROBODesign and ComfortThe neckband features a color scheme that appears more orange than yellow in person, differing slightly from promotional images. The build quality is generally appreciated, and the IP55 rating ensures resistance against sweat and dust, suitable for workouts and outdoor activities.REDDITConnectivity and LatencyDual connectivity allows seamless switching between devices, which users find beneficial. However, some have reported noticeable latency when watching videos, even with the gaming mode activated. This could be a consideration for users sensitive to audio-visual sync.REDDITApp IntegrationAdjusting settings requires the Realme Link app, which mandates account creation—a point of contention for some users who prefer more straightforward access to features.REDDITConclusionThe Realme Buds Wireless 5 ANC earphones offer strong sound quality, effective ANC, and substantial battery life at an affordable price point. While there are minor areas for improvement, such as latency during video playback and app usability, they present a compelling option for those seeking feature-rich wireless earphones.

DO NOT BUY!
I only see cons on this earphones. For reference, I am coming from a 1st gen realme Buds Wireless Pro neckband (still available for purchase on Amazon).- This does not have quick toggle between 2 paired devices. The simultaneous connection is a gimmick. Why would I want to switch to an incoming call on a mobile when I am on an important teams meet on my laptop? I want the ability to switch at will, not because of some lame priority algorithm. The 1st gen model can toggle between the last 2 paired devices with a simple double click of the button. In this model, you need to keep pressing the ANC button till you hear a beep, and then click connect on the device you want to switch to, even if you have established pairing earlier.- The noise cancellation is literally useless when compared to the 1 Gen model (35db). I have travelled on plane wearing the Gen-1 and it was fantastic. This one does not even muffle the kitchen mixer sound. There is no feeling of 'pressure in the ears' that you usually get when ANC is activated, even on Max mode via the app.- transparent mode does not sound much different than normal mode. Again the Gen-1 was superb compared to this model.- Most important of all, every time you disconnect and connect to a device, the first 3 seconds of sound is lost!- The app requires you to create an account to be able to control the device, like what even?! And the app is a total of 162MB!- Fit is very bad, the right side ear bud keeps falling out of the ear (I am on the smallest sized ear tip).- The cable quality is identical to the gen-1 and I suspect it is prone to tearing off/disintegrating just like Gen-1. See youtube repair videos of realme Buds Wireless Pro on youtube. The only good thing I see is that the neckband is very light. I wonder if I should have gone ahead with those 500-700 rupee neckbands from Meesho.
