Works great for Dj Max Respect, Sound Voltex and Stepmania/Itgmania. I mainly use it for Itgmania, and for half the price it works way better than my Pi Pico I brought from B2L.

This keyboard controller makes DJMAX 8-Button mode so much easier for me to play than just using a qwerty keyboard. I love that you can so intricately program it to even adjust the display's HUD info into particular positions and play animated frames. I did find the provided keycaps were not particularly well suited for the natural resting locations of my fingers though, so I took advice of another reviewer and tried replacing some keycaps with wider-u caps - and that's the biggest complaint I have for the device. There were some deeper aspects to programming the device that were not intuitive and could use some documentation or better explanation, but they were definitely advanced details that most users should probably not need to adjust on their device and more like exposed developer controls for testing and troubleshooting. Highly recommend this gamepad for rhythm games, especially if you have some spare ctrl,alt,shift keycaps lying around you can stick on it.

My son had a milestone birthday coming up and I asked him what he wanted. Evidently he has been looking at this keyboard for a while so he picked this as his gift and he LOVES it!!!He says it has drastically improved his speed and accuracy over a standard computer keyboard in the games he uses it to play.Based on his knowledge of gaming and related hardware I would recommend this keyboard with no hesitation.

The software is kind of hard to figure out, but if youre tech savvy it's nice to program90. swapped the two outward most keys with the two lower keys. They are positioned sideways to put them closer to my pinky. I also put replacement left shift keys that I had laying around where the thumb keys are. The switches also have potentiometers. meaning it activates instantly. It is 8000 hz input, and just like that three button keyboard they sell, it's easy to program. Just run the default calibration and set to 8000 hz. if you want to customize the screen just look up the software. I recommend the desktop version. It will help you get that max combo/god run on your DJMAX Respect V.

originally bought it for dj max and osu but then it dawned on me I could play sound voltex because it has two knobs and color me impressed it works wonders.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this primarily for DJ Max Respect V.Im in no way a professional at the game and play only for fun. I wanted something that eliminated unneeded buttons and kept everything compact. This device did that and more.It's fully customizable and continues to receive firmware updates by the developer. The color is customizable and yes you can display different images on the screen. The buttons are very responsive and so far I have no issues other than getting used to my new finger layout. Other than that, it's fantastic and alleviates the pain on my hands.
