PS5 Pro best console currently available
I’ve previously owned the original PS5 and now the PS5 Pro and can say in my opinion the upgrade is absolutely worth it. Paired with a 48” Philipps Ambilight OLED TV with VRR is a great experience with the pro. Elden Ring runs far better than on base PS5 with less stutter and a more consistent frame rate helped along by VRR. The quality difference in newer titles like Assassins Creed Shadows really demonstrates why this console is the best money can buy at the time of writing both in terms of graphical fidelity and power. It’s everything good about the original PS5 with more disk space and graphical horsepower. Missing a physical drive but for me this is a non-issue as all my games are digital. Overall, it’s a fantastic piece of gaming kit and paired with a good OLED VRR TV provides a top-tier gaming experience.

Make sure it can breath, very important
Great cheap alternative to pc gaming with great graphics and storage. Aint noisy at all . But gets very hot so must have breathing room, advice get the stand as heat pours out underneath too . . Otherwise very impressed. Also on lg oled c4 and its fantastic. Its missing dolby vision sadly though for that glass look .

Excellent on my 8K Samsung TV
The PlayStation 5 Pro is an impressive upgrade for gamers looking to push visual quality and immersion to new heights. Designed for upto 8K TVs, the PS5 Pro's hardware enhancements allow for a higher graphical fidelity with options for 8K at 60Hz and 4K at 120Hz, delivering stunning visuals that truly stand out on compatible displays.A standout feature is its improved ray tracing capabilities, which enable realistic lighting and reflections across several games. This enhancement brings added depth and realism to scenes, especially in games like Spider-Man 2 and Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, where the visuals now appear sharper and smoother. The new PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) technology also supports upscaling, giving even 4K displays an extra visual boost by delivering crisper textures without overburdening the GPU.In addition to visuals, the PS5 Pro performs impressively in terms of heat management and Wi-Fi 7 support. It runs quieter and cooler than previous models, even after extended gaming sessions, which is a notable upgrade over the original PS5. The added Wi-Fi 7 capability boosts download speeds significantly for those with compatible routers, providing faster connectivity and smoother online gameplay.Overall, the PS5 Pro offers substantial improvements for visual immersion and performance, making it a great choice for tech enthusiasts looking to maximize their gaming setup, especially on 8K TVs. However, its high price may be a factor for some, given that the original PS5 already delivers impressive quality.

A true PS5 pro review.
Where do i start.....1st the bad.. it is clearly not worth the £700 price tag, i don't care what anyone says! There is no justification apart from Sonys cash grab tactics and customers saying we'll i can afford to pay it so I will! Then there's the fact there's no drive, what a mistake by Sony, I know every gaming company wants digital only games and this maybe sooo but they are short sighted and brain washed, they clearly can't see what a bad idea this will be for the future of gaming! Look at Netflix and all the other film subscription channels and imagine that but with games....more dictatorship and price hikes! Now the good stuff.....the image quality of this machine is superb, Xbox Series X eat your heart out, the extra power really shows up and delivers....should have been native 4k minimum for every game but hey its an improvement and an extra 1tb too. Oh and another downer is the PS4 turbo hairdrying sound is back.....come on Sony WTH! I paid £580.00 (Amazon warehouse) and thought that was worth it but I certainly wouldn't pay £700 not enough of a leap to warrant it!

Flawless Gaming
I saw a lot of bad reviews of people saying that they don't notice the difference between this Pro version and the PS5. Well I do. There's a huge difference but you have to be like me, an enthusiastic or freak person who loves to play the games in 4K and with a high frame rate. And play close to the TV too to enjoy the details. First I tested some PS4 games and I feel an improvement. They looked sharper, even more colourful and also with a smoother gameplay. So definitely it is an improvement there. For this you need to activate the PS4 games enhancer option and the VRR for games that don't have VRR. So first things first. You need a proper 4K TV 120hz with VRR and game mode with HDR on to notice all these improvements. In that game mode you can se the FPS. Yesterday I was playing The Last of Us Part I in the Pro Mode at 80/90 FPS. It just looks so beautiful and smooth. It is an absolute pleasure to play this way. It is like play the fidelity mode on PS5 (which was locked at 30fps) at 80/90fps! Just awesome. Then I played other games that has not the pro enhanced label and they look and perform much better. You can play Dirt 5 on the fidelity mode at 60fps, also Cyberpunk looks and performs much better, God of War at 90fps with better graphics too... It improves every game. It's an absolute joy to play games this way. But yeah, as someone mentioned in the reviews, you need a nice TV for this (4K, 120hz, VRR and Game mode with HDR). And you need to be a freak that appreciates the best things in life and the little details. Otherwise, don't waste your money. PS5 still a superb console.
