Yeah, the left-right buttons make the traditional click sound, it's a mouse. Works 100% on BT, no issue on my laptop that had BT. No more usb receiver.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I haved used Dell wired mice during the last two generations on my laptops, but I noticed that prior to my most recent devices I had used Logitech. I now know why. This M196 model worked instantly on my new Dell Inspiron 15, so I have reordered it for my Inspiron 16.

It's a mouse. I don't know what else to say. It worked perfectly out of the box once paired with my laptop. I recommend.

Initially, I bought a no name because this one was going take several days longer to arrive. Well, that was a mistake. Just buy logi peripherals and save yourself a lot of frustration with lesser quality products. This one is great, very long lasting battery beats having to recharge every now and then, and besides, you get no warning that the rechargeable one is going down. This one battery option is much better. Love the instant on and the smooth tracking and feel, again, just get logi.
