Gravy and So Much More *
I bought this a while back and I guess I forgot to do the review. I'm almost ready to purchase another one. Don't get me wrong, as this will last you a long time. It's very difficult to find Gluten Free Gravies. These are the best tasting gravies. I use it for gravy, mixing small amounts with gluten free flour as breading on meats, in casseroles, in many dishes. I do like the small packages of this, but if you frequently make gravy or casseroles, the price of those small packets will break you. On my center Island, I have the Gluten Free Poultry Gravy Tub and the Gluten Free Beef Gravy Tub. The tubs are great, because you can use a teaspoon, if that's all you need or 1/2 cup, if you need. I take a small amount (maybe 1/4 cup of gravy mix) and mix with cold water to make a paste. Then I thin it out with more water and heat it up or add it to my baked dish or casserole. It doesn't have directions, but do you need them? It takes the mix and water. That's it. I pretty much just use the Beef for beef and hamburger and the Poultry for everything else. I'll use the Poultry Gluten Free Gravy Mix for Chicken, Turkey, Turkey Patties, Pork and I've even used it for Ham. When I use it for Ham, I mix the gravy pretty thin and then cook the ham slices or chunks in it.I love this mix and use it all the time. I do use the Poultry flavor much more than the Beef flavor, but only because we eat poultry 4 to 1 to what we eat beef. The only downside to these gravies is the sodium content. I make sure that everything else is low sodium. I do recommend this. Thank you for reading my review.

PREMIUM (tan label) ~ Rich Tasting ~ Poultry Gravy ~ Quick ~ 30-60 Sec. Stir Time.
This PREMIUM poultry gravy is much better then McCormick regular red label. We've used both. Comments for 'RED label' are in footnote.--------------------------------------------------------This is a PREMIUM gravy that will go with chicken or turkey, it's a quick fix with a flavorful taste. It doesn't have the stronger taste like McCormick turkey gravy does. The entire 20 oz bottle yields 1 gallon of gravy = 16 cups.and can be prepared in any smaller amount you need ~ this bottle goes a long way.Directions are included on the bottle ~ lift white arrow at left-hand bottom corner of back label. It's prepared just the opposite of the single packs which I consider a real plus.DIRECTIONSRECIPE SIZE --------- 1 Cup ------- 1 Quart ------- 1 Gallon-----------------------^---------------^---------------^-----GRAVY MIX ---------- 1/4 cup ------ 1 cup ------ full bottleWATER --------------- 1 cup ------- 4 cups ------- 1 gallon> BRING water to boil. Remove from heat.> GRADUALLY whisk in gravy mix.> WHISK 30 seconds to 1 minute. If thinner consistency is desired, stir in additional hot water as needed.I've found the gravy is thickened & ready in less then 30 sec.For comparison ~McCormick ~ single ~ packets contain 0.87 oz and yield 1 cup.The single packs must be watched over from the beginning.1. First add the contents in the pan ~2. Gradually add water while stirring frequently with a whisk until it comes to a boil ~3. Keep stirring on simmer 1 min. or until gravy thickens.I appreciate the more convenient way this gravy is preparedand the economical cost. Our family regularly uses several flavors of McCormick gravy'sin these large size bottles and all are excellent!Poultry ~ Brown ~ Au Jus ~ Country Gravy ~ Taco seasoning.------------------------------------------------------------FOOTNOTE ~ McCormick RED label poultry gravyTaste OK ~ but is disappointing if you've used McCormick PREMIUM gravy.DIRECTIONS -RECIPE SIZE ------- 1 1/4 Cup ------- 1 Quart ------- 1 Gallon-----------------------^-----------------^--------------^-----GRAVY MIX --------- 1/4 cup ------ 1 cup + 2 tbsp -- full bottleWATER --------------1 1/4 cup ------- 1 quart -------- 1 gallonMIX poultry gravy mix and water in saucepan until well blended.BRING to boil over medium-high heat, stirring frequently. Reduce heat.SIMMER for 5 to 8 minutes.WELL! I was skeptical, because the PREMIUM gravy directions call for 1 cup water to 1/4 c mix.So I didn't use the extra 1/4 c water. Simmered the mix for 8 minutes and it never didget quite as thick as the original gravy.(Seems to me the only reason this 18 oz bottle makes 1 gallon is because the gravy is much thinnerand I prefer the 'PREMIUM' 30 to 60 sec. stir time rather then 'RED' 5 to 8 min simmer)McCormick tip - for richer creamier gravy substitute 1/4 of the water with milk.Doesn't contain MSG or artificial flavors.Instructions on back of bottle, peal back label.

Good gluten free gravr
We served this gravy at two Thanksgiving meals. It was easy to prepare and very tasty. It's salty: no need to add salt to food covered in this gravy.

Always Easy to Prepare. Never Any Leftovers.
A trusted name in spices and gravies. We were very pleased to find this size container available online. The taste is like ‘homemade scratch gravy’, and we find it quick and easy to prepare. Adjustments to the directions can yield thicker or thinner gravies. Thank You!

Better than the “regular”
MUCH better than the “regular” mix. Richer flavor with a creamier texture.
