Miracle product!
Ordered this to help with a nasty deep splinter. Remember my mum having some when I was younger. Applied to site using a plaster and 2 days later the splinter was visible and I was able to remove. How does it do that? Fantastic!

Amazing for spots and abscesses
It is amazing- if I feel a spot or an abscess starting, I put this on straight away and by the next day it's sorted!

This is a magical product.
I got a splinter in my finger a week ago whilst gardening and I had not been able to get it out. I remembered my mother always used to swear by Lion ointment when we were kids. So I thought I would order some and give it a try as the wound was beginning to become infected. When it arrived I put some on where the splinter was and covered with a plaster. I left it for a few hours until I had my shower and removed the plaster and there was the splinter sat on top of my skin! The lion had drawn it right out, magic!

The tin states that it is antiseptic, but don't see any reference in the ingredients, it has no smell, but it did sooth the pain So we will see whether or not it contains any healing properties as time goes on. I was hoping that it would draw out the boil. Magnesium sulphate paste is best, but they seller expects the buyer to buy 2 pots (not practical for the ocassional boil) and is very expensive all of a sudden.

Good for splinters.
I always seem to get splinters in work or in the garden. Usually those little hard to see and get out splinters. This seems to do a great job at drawing them out. Used time and time again with good results.

A basic zinc oxide cream
We were hoping this would replace the no-longer-available pink Germolene antiseptic ointment, but, no. It's a very basic cream with a small amount of zinc oxide to help with antiseptic and drawing properties. For drawing a whitlow or splinter, magnesium sulphate paste is far superior, and for antiseptic use, we prefer the traditional Germolene ointment which is now only available imported from South Africa from eBay. Despite the price charged, there's nothing better.
