The quality of these SmallRig Hawk Lock connections is seriously impressive. They provide a rock-solid hold for monitors, lights, or anything else you need to rig up. The quick-release button makes it incredibly easy to attach and detach, and yet it still holds weight like a champ. Compared to cheaper arms that loosen or fail over time, this one is in a different league. You can feel the sturdiness as soon as you pick it up. SmallRig nailed it with this one!

I'm very happy with this rosette arm, which is built like a tank. It locks in rock-solid both onto the HawkLock mounting points, and as an arm. It can also potentially double as a half-decent top handle.And it's solidly good value relative to generic NATO arms, considering it comes with two rails. The rails work with other NATO-clamp based accessories, but the arm's HawkLock clamps only work with the HawkLock rails and not generic rails.I also have the ball arm, which is easier to reconfigure, but rather short. This 7" rosette arm is just the right size for my needs when the ball arm isn't cutting it.

SmallRig has always had good quality for its price. This arm is a great example of how they have advanced to exceptional quality and a great price. There are a lot of design details put into this arm making it versatile as well as rock solid. The square quick release can slide in from any side giving you tremendous ease for connecting and positioning. It also happens to be the same size as a NATO rail, adding to your connection options. The anti-twist pins are a must for me on monitor mounts, but occasionally I'll want to mount other things. Having the ability to pull these twist pins off gives me more options. The stability when locked is very impressive. There is no give at the ball heads or the knuckle. Strong and versatile.

I really really love this product line. These things look so good, provide great utility when trying to be quick, and do a good job not allowing the mounted object to to rotate thanks to the locating pins. Sadly the magic arm and the hawklock system are easily clogged up with dirt or debris and quickly become stiff and rigid. Additionally the screws do have a habit of becoming loose which can allow the system to spin.

Works well with my mevo camera and magnetic mount. However wish there were more teeth to make minor adjustments. It holds really tight and very confident it will hold my camera.

this magic arm is my new favorite. The easy to position and lock feature as well as the quick disconnect make it much better than any other articulating arm that i have used. It holds everything that i have put on it from cameras to monitors. So it has an amazing build quality which i have come to expect from the Smallrig brand.

I never expected this to ever break. I think that I mightve picked a different product coinciding that this costly magic arm is now useless. This is the first time small rig product has failed me miserably.

This is a solidly built arm for multiple uses, and the quick release locks make it our go-to arm for our DSLR rigs.All the joints tighten easily and stay put, and with the solid build quality this arm will no doubt last for years.
