Great portable solution for light productivity work on a tablet device. A few caveats though...
I've had this keyboard for about 6 months, and use it regularly enough I feel comfortable reviewing it.I purchased this pretty much to go with what you see in the photo, a Legion Go. This is a windows gaming device where the controllers detach to leave a high-powered, work-appropriate Windows tablet. But to really be able to use this, I needed both a separate keyboard and a mouse.Since I carry everything on me, I needed a functional but ultra-portable solution-- I already had a folding keyboard, which was great, but adding a wireless mouse was getting to bulky-- since I'm already carrying charging cables and a portable battery pack. This keyboard is probably one of the nicest folding chicklet keyboards I've used. The build quality is pretty solid, I haven't had any of the keys get loose. The trackpad is solid, but doesn't always register clicks, but I think that's part of the mechanical limitations. I've also noticed that the trackpad is a fingerprint/oil magnet, but so long as you're not doing this for aesthetics it works just fine. The thing has an internal battery charged by USB-C, which is vastly more convenient in 2025 compared to the micro-USB charging ports I've had on other folding keyboards-- and the device charges quickly and has a handy red/blue indicator light. It goes to sleep when folded. It also is great at waking up the device. I found pairing pretty easy. If I wanted to get fancy and pair it to multiple devices there are bright yellow Bluetooth shortcuts above the trackpad.I'm a touch typer and while not as comfortable or as accurate as a full mechanical or laptop keyboard, it feels as good as you're going to get for one of these devices.I use this mostly for writing emails and notes at work. For light productivity, it works great, but if you're going to be typing a 20 page term paper on your tablet, I'd suggest a full keyboard and mouse setup-- this isn't the most ergonomic solution, but to be fair, none of these folding keyboards are.One of the things I like is that it comes with a handy sleeve that closes with a magnetic button, it's a great touch that protects the keyboard without adding much in the way of bulk. It also comes with a phone/tablet stand that I'm sure is great, but I put to the side. There is a tiny little pocket in the sleeve for that.At $60 it's literally a third the cost of a Surface Pro keyboard, and about a quarter of the cost of folio keyboard option for Apple.I'd say it's a great option, especially if you find yourself limited by a touch screen. It also could be used with game consoles for the rare times you need to enter text such as character naming or entering in passwords when you don't want to use a controller.

Perfect for My Boox ereader - The Best Foldable Keyboard I’ve Found
I use this keyboard almost entirely with my Boox 10-inch device, and after trying several other portable keyboards, this one is by far the best fit for how I actually work and read.Pros:(1) The touchpad works properly. On most folding keyboards, the trackpad is barely usable — scrolling gestures are often mistaken for taps or clicks. With this ProtoArc, scrolling websites and AI tools works smoothly, and I can even select text directly on my Boox. That’s rare in this price range.(2) Comfortable, real key spacing. This keyboard has around 19 mm key spacing. Many competitors claim “full size” but squeeze the keys to about 18 mm, which makes long typing uncomfortable. I can type longer sessions on this without cramping.(3) Proper navigation keys — without an unnecessary number pad.Page Up, Page Down, Home, and End are essential for reading books on my Boox and moving through documents and websites quickly. Most other keyboards with these keys force you to accept a bulky number pad too, which I don’t need. This one gives me the nav keys only, which is perfect.(4)Solid folding design.I really appreciate the form factor: when unfolded, it’s one flat, rigid piece. Many two-fold keyboards have a soft or flimsy hinge in the middle that flexes while typing — this one does not. It feels sturdy on my lap or desk.(5) Fits my real use.I rarely use this with my iPad — it lives next to my Boox. I type notes, scroll articles, turn pages, and highlight text, all without extra devices cluttering my bag.Cons:(1) The little stand that comes with it, feels flimsy for 10 inch tablet like my Boox (weights around 370g without cover)(2) The stand only supports a range of very steep angles(3) It is quite large when unfolded, but it would be expected for a full size keyboard with a large touch pad. What I don't know/use:(1) I don't use complicated gestures, I mostly just select text, scroll and double tap as right click occasionally.(2) Not sure about the performance of the touch pad on iPad---- Bottom line:If you use a Boox tablet or any e-ink reader and want one foldable keyboard that does real typing, reliable scrolling, text selection, and navigation without gimmicks or extra bulk, this is the best I’ve found so far.Highly recommended if you’ve been disappointed by other so-called “portable keyboards.”

Huge fan of ProtoArc!
Love this product! I use it when I have to move around and work or to use it with my ASUS Ally X when it’s docked and it works great! The trackpad could be a bit better though, it feels like it has a delay. Typing is not a bad experience and pairing was a breeze. The keyboard is mainly made out of plastic so you might want to avoid dropping it. It comes with a faux leather pouch that looks very nice. I really love how I don’t have to turn it off with a button, the fact that I can just close the keyboard shut and it turns off is a wonderful feature!Giving it a 4 star because of the trackpad.I love the packaging!

Great portable full sized keyboard.
This is a great keyboard. Well designed, well packaged, light, portable. I do a fair amount of traveling and I prefer to just take my iPad. This gives me the comfort and ease of a full sized keyboard while still being light and easy to pack. Bonuses: you can connect more than one device, and it comes with a small folding stand for your phone. More expensive than others but worth the cost

Good travel keyboard
Keyboard is compact, with keys spaced out nicely. Typing feels natural with no compromise. Use it for a couple of devices, including my iPad, and it's been fine on everything. Touchpad works fine also. Folds up neatly, and comes with a travel pouch.

RIP Bluetooth Button
I was going to give it a five-star rating until the Bluetooth key 2 malfunctioned. Otherwise, it is a satisfactory keyboard. I am now searching for a replacement from a different manufacturer, as I am concerned that another essential key might fail.Update: Seller has offered a Full Refund for the malfunctioning keyboard so that changes my review. So far its still just the one key.
