I'm happy with them
I bought the Creative Pebble X speakers to go with a new monitor that doesn't have built-in speakers. I connected them to the hub in the monitor, using the USB-C cables included with the speakers, to which I had to add a USB-A connector. I also connected the speakers to a PD adaptor. Without the PD adaptor, the speakers were very quiet, and I had to turn up the volume in Windows to over 80/100. The PD adaptor also improved the sound quality. The speakers sound miles better than the sound of my laptop (Dell XPS 13) and better than that of my old Dell Soundbar. Out of curiosity, I compared them to a recently purchased SONOS Roam 2 that cost me over 50% more. The sound on the SONOS was clearer, particularly voices, and more defined, but the difference wasn't huge and higher frequencies to my ears, are better on the Pebble X. I'm happy with the Pebbles.

These pack a punch
I was thinking should I have got the version with a sub woofer but trust me you don't need it. I gained the extra wattage from getting a more powerful plug as stated in the description and these are great. Hardly wear a headset now. Would recommend. No e and basey too!

Dont do it.
Terrible! not sure what Creative are smoking nowadays but i have the Creative iTrigue 3400 from 2006 and wanted an upgrade. It was a step back in every direction. Have to run rubbish software to get even mediocre performance. bass is terrible. Gaming terrible, movies passable; that's with having to choose the profile in the app every time i want to run something different!back to my trusted iTrigues. If this is what creative is throwing out 20 years later it isn't a good sign at all. Will look at other brands now.

Compact but compromised
I had high expectations for these compact speakers, hoping that advances in technology would allow even small units to deliver powerful bass and a well-balanced sound. Unfortunately, the Pebble X leans too heavily on the highs while lacking depth in the mids and lows, leaving the overall sound feeling thin. For similar price, a pair of entry-level 3.5” studio monitors would provide a far superior listening experience, with richer tonal balance and greater accuracy, and a lot more lows. While the Pebble X may suit casual listeners or those with limited space, it falls short for anyone seeking a more immersive and well-rounded sound profile.

Exactly what you'd expect, in a good way
Exactly what I needed. Could be a bit bassier but what do you expect for this price point? They look cool, too!
