HPE Networking Instant On Access Point AP27 2x2 WiFi 6 Outdoor Wireless Access Point | Power Source Not Included | US Model (S1T36A)

I purchased this outdoor access point for my backyard a few weeks ago and I am really happy with the Wi-Fi coverage. Set up was very easy and the signal is strong all the time! I am purchasing a second unit soon

I rely on the items in my outbuildings to be connected and this unit has made it extremely easy for me to ensure that the machines I have that I use to connect through my laptop, tablet or cell phone can send/receive instructions and work as they should. See, I do have a high-grade router - one that I purchased instead of using what the internet provider wanted to give me. But the thing is, my outbuildings are a bit too far for any decent wireless connection to occur UNTIL I installed this unit outside my house under the eves. it is connected directly to my router and the first time I walked into one of my outbuildings and checked, it was like all the anxiety drained out of me - the machines powered up and the tablet I had been using found them immediately and they were "talking" to each other - just what I needed - REQUIRED! So this unit was just what I needed for my outbuildings and the machines I have that need connectivity.

I've been moving away from my old UFO shaped APs as they're not wifi6 and the range isn't great.This is a great outdoor access point and has replaced 2 other outdoor/mobile APs in mesh.Its easy to setup and integrate into any environment as long as you have power/POE, internet access, and and a place to mount it. The hardest part was trenching buriable cat6 for poe. I put this towards the back 3rd of a half acre and get amazing signal across the entire range outdoors, and even connect to it from inside just fine.Its taken some getting used to but I'm going to start integrating more HPE/Aruba gear. The only "new" part for me is having to have internet access for configuration through an online app -> cloud portal, as far as I've seen no locally hosted options for a controller exist.I get consistent speeds and can handle calls while streaming on my laptop outside without a problem using a wifi6 adapter. Looking forward to adding some inside and getting them meshed up.

I recently constructed a back yard oasis with tons of lighting elements and water features. Many of these items needed a wifi connection that was just outside the range of my homes router. I was able to get this unit up and running within 30 minutes and communicating nicely with all my outdoor devices. I plan on purchasing another one for our office location to extend the wifi range there too.

Probably overkill for the application, but I acquired this for a family member who hosts a lot of events in their outdoor space. This has provided great connection and throughput without a single hickup thus far. Installation was a breeze and it looks great.

For the price you get a well built outdoor AP, could you use it inside? sure its just bulky so theres that.Its constructed very well it has a solid standard of wifi 6 which is probably as old of a technology as you want to be purchasing I say this to say theres now 6e and now wifi 7. While devices with those wireless technology are limited if you do not purchase the latest and greatest frequently then this AP is a great baseline to go off.Overall great for what it is I do wish I could have a mesh of these outside it would really cover my whole parcel.

This product works as well as it says it will, which is not always true these days. If your network needs an on-demand access point, you won't be going far wrong with this one. Installation is easy, set-up is easy. In no time it can be up and running. A good price as well. Many of these do less and are higher priced.
