OtterBoxDefender Series Case for Google Pixel 8 Pro (Pro Only) Case Only - Retail Packaging - Black

I initially had trouble getting my phone in the case and I couldn't figure out why Otterbox would use hard plastic for a case when you had to get your phone inside of it. I did a quick google and it pulled up a quick 41 second excerpt where it showed putting the phone inside of a two part shell and then slipping it inside of the soft rubber sleeve. When I got the package, the shell was inside the outer rubber piece and it looked like one unit but you have to remove the inner, solid plastic and pull it apart to put your phone into and then slide it into the outer shell which is softer rubber. I almost returned it before I found this out. I have to wonder if a lot of people who say that the phone doesn't fit don't realize this fact. I did not find any instructions in the package when I opened it.

very good is something big in the hand but it protects my cell phone a lot and it was what I needed excellent purchase I think this brand in cell phone protectors is one of the best I recommend it And more if you have a strong and heavy work, protect it at 100.

Ordered the same phone from another seller and received a brick. After reordering from a different provider, the phone arrived in a protective, padded package, with the cardboard box appropriately sized for the phone also wrapped in bubble plastic. It also came with screen and camera lens protection not to mention a charger, cord and micro card slot opener. Upon powering on the phone and allowing it to update, the unlocked phone connected immediately to my Verizon network. 100% satisfied with this purchase.

Definitely one of the heftiest cases I have ever used on a phone, as Otterbox is known for. I'm glad to see their prices have come down but perhaps not their quality. I think my phone weighs twice as much now.It arrives in just a bag with instructions that show you can just slide the phone into the case (that was covered by the Amazon label so I had to look through the open back to see it). These instructions are wrong, and I'm assuming that's why so many people say the phone doesn't fit, as I had that thought at first. I could tell I was missing something so I looked up a video on YouTube and it's actually 3 different parts.The case has a rubbery coating over plastic pieces that has some tactile grip without being irritating like some other cases that are too bumpy for my liking.Between the blatantly wrong instructions, and the fact that mine came pre-scratched on the back plate, I am docking a star. Seeing as I just got this case, time will tell if it holds up, but I feel confident with it.

I am very notorious for dropping my phone and refused to switch to OtterBox for so long because I wanted a cute case. But OtterBox protects my phone better than any other phone and it does exactly what it's designed to do. It's easy to use, feels durable and is durable. A little sad there's no other color options but over all functions like it should and feels good in your hand.

Fits great, love the plug cover, keeps crap out of it.
