Wired connection is a bit confusing- I thought it wasn't working on my Linux system since I plugged in and nothing showed up, but reading the instructions it seems there are different ways to turn it on based on what system you are connecting to, start+X for windows mode and now it is working fine.Joysticks seem perfect, hope they really last as long as they say they do. Great dpad. Build quality overall feels a little cheaper than the wired version which is odd.. But its not bad at all. Can't comment on bluetooth as I have nothing to connect it to - just bought it for the better sticks (with moderate use, the sticks on the wired version are a total gamble if you will get 6 months, 1 year, 2 if you are really lucky before they start not coming back to full center)Wish they had these sticks on the wired one..I honestly should take a star off for the ridiculously short cable that it comes with - a whopping 40 inches - so if you plan to use this plugged in you better have a laptop or a really close PC. I had a spare c-cable lying around, but if not I'd have had to buy one. If they aren't going to sell wired with upgraded sticks they should give a decent length cable with this! But, the controller itself is great, so guess I'll leave it as is.

Multiple emulation modes, modern features, worth the price!
I love that it has different controller modes to emulate and connect to whatever system you want. Since Apple plays better with PlayStation controllers, the DualShock option comes in handy! USB-C, Hall effect, joysticks, four shoulder buttons AND a built in battery? Chefs kiss.

Switch 2 Compatible! Easy Firmware update
Read the other reviews for details on how the controller actually works -- I've been an 8bitdo fan for years and they're great controllers -- but this is just to say that this controller is 100% switch 2 compatible with a very easy firmware update. All you have to do is go to their support website, find this controller, and then download their updater. It's both Mac and PC compatible (seriously that's such a perk for me) and it took maybe 5 mins tops from downloading the updater to playing mariokart with it on my new switch 2. Worth every penny and I'll be even more of a brand loyalist forever now!

For on the road gamers
Absolutely love this controller! Can be a little weird connecting it to some things but once you get the hang of it, it's easy. If it wasn't for that it would get 5 stars

A really great universal controller that's REALLY packable!
I love these little rascals. I carry these around in my Switch and Commodore 64 cases. They travel well, they're pretty durable even though I'm really hard on my gear.It takes me a couple of seconds to get these synced up to either my Switch or my C64 with a Bluetooth adapter (I use the Unijoystickle 2 adapter on the C64).I only have 2 complaints about these.#1. It doesn't wake up the Switch. Since I've had aftermarket controllers that can do it, why doesn't the SN30 pro? You'd think, once you told it to use Switch mode, it would just be able to do it. But NO. WHY?#2. I have to keep going through the whole process of selecting a mode and then the SYNC button every time I use it with the C64, which is just pairing up a generic Bluetooth. Why doesn't it just keep the pairing info from the last use? I don't have this problem when playing on the Unijoystickle with the Nintendo Pro Controller. I just wake it up and press the button on the C64 and it works.I love the D-Pad, I love the thumbsticks & the whole thing really. I play mostly 2-d games so this layout really serves me well, and I find that C64 games, both on the C64 and emulation on the Switch, play better with this than almost any C64 joystick.

Best controller ever?
I think it might be - buttons all feel excellent, Hall Effect sticks are excellent quality and the controller itself is just ridiculously comfortable (almost to the point that you forget you're holding it). HIGHLY recommended if you need a bluetooth controller.
