I honestly didn't plan to wite a review about this hat because, well, it's just a hat, right? All I need it for is an upcoming trip where the sun will be beating down on my head for hours at a time and a ball cap would leave my ears & neck totally exposed. But, then it was delivered and I tried it on. Dang! This thing actually provides the 360* shade I was hoping for! The brim is wide enough to provide the protection I was needing & the flap thing (sorry, not sure what it is called) adds an extra layer of block from the sun on my neck & upper shoulders.The hat is easily adjustable for sizing and the chin strap means I don't have to keep grabbing for my hat when the wind picks up. It appears well made with even stitching & no loose threads to clip.It is easily foldable. Previous reviewers complained about the hat being delivered in a bag which caused creases from it being folded to fit. Apparently the Seller listened because mine came in a thin box with only a single fold and the crease easily popped out. I can absolutely recommend!

Excellent hat. I got it for the flap that covers the back of the neck. The hat fits me well with or without my headphones when I go out on my walks. The chin string works to keep the hat in place when the wind wants to tear it off my head. Said wind does make the flap rattle in the wind like a sail would, so if you don't like a noisy hat in high wind, this might not be the type of hat for you. Works for me.

Exactly as described and good quality! The color matches pictures and description. Would buy again. Bought for my husband who has a lawncare company and he loves it. Blocks the sun efficiently on back of neck and face. The only thing I would say is that it is a bit big for me and may not be appropriate for smaller head sizes.

It does what is supposed to do. Very lightweight didn’t even realize I was wearing it. Until the wind blew.

This hat does wonders. I bought this for my visit at the Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve. It was a savoir for sure. The hat's brim was wide enough to cover my entire face. The neck flap was wide and long enough to adequately cover and protect my neck. The hat was deep enough to ensure it would not come off easily. The fabric overall seemed to have a cheap feel, but it did its job and held up fine. I will buy a couple more for the kiddo's fishing trips and my adventures.

My husband works outside a lot so this is nice to shield his face from the sun. Also very good quality. Easy to wash. I put it in the washer machine and it doesn’t loose its shape. Very lightweight and breathable fabric.

Lightweight and effective for sun protection! Thought the neck flap might be annoying but it didn't bother me and was great for a day at the amusement park. Only problem was my wife didn't want to give it back after trying it on! Ordering more for the whole family.

This hat had potential to be a nice hat at a good price however they ruined it in the packaging. The package that they put it in is too small for the hat to sit flat so they fold it in half. A large brim like this that is given a crease where you fold it in half and then leave it there for I don't know how long it's going to deform the hat and it's never going to sit right. How the heck a hat manufacturer wouldn't know that this is going to happen is beyond me I'm just perplexed. Perhaps the person that's supposed to package it wasn't trained correctly? Perhaps the box that they're using this flat not the right width and length box it's just not going to work for this application? I don't know all I know is that I'm very disappointed that just because they don't know how to package there item I get to wear a deformed hat. I probably won't wear it I'll be conscientious of it it won't sit right if a wind comes it's going to bend there still get why they would do that. This hat had such potential.
