I had a bit of a time at first. I believe that the unit I received is used. I had to hit the RESET numerous times before the unit actually reset. Once it reset, scan for wireless devices in your PHONE . You will see a name that has Repeater in it. click on that name and off you go. There are several youtube videos. Now that it is setup the Unit works great.

This WiFi extender rarely works. It’s way too spotty. Sometimes it will work OK, and then it will completely stop. I have to switch between my actual WIFI network and this extender. I have 2 story home that’s 2500 sq ft, there’s no way this extends or works for 5000 sq ft like advertised. You pay for what you get - would not purchase again or recommend

So far this item has worked pretty good. The setup was hard at first because on my phone I followed the directions and kept clicking the wifi name for the box but it would never send me to the setup screen that the directions said it would send me to so I gave up.A little while later while outside I decided to give it one more try and it worked and I was able to go to the screen the direction said it would send me to and was able to get everything set up.We use it outside in our outdoor kitchen for our TV out there and so far it gets a good signal and we don't have any lagging on the TV screen.
