An excellent color laser printer!
This appears to be an excellent color laser printer. Not only that, but it is a scanner, copier, and fax machine. I have been using it now for several weeks, and it is absolutely wonderful. It makes my old HP Color Laser printer look bad (thankfully the Brother color laser printer is replacing the HP!) The Brother printer is much quieter than the HP, and so far so much more reliable. And the colors are more vibrant than the HP. I highly recommend this Brother color laser printer! And the networking capability is a huge plus as well!

Perfect for small business...
Exactly what we needed for the ministry, very easy to set up, speed and quality are great. Haven't had it long enough to determine toner longevity, but so far we are very pleased with this upgrade.

Easy and reliable that’s all I want in a small business printer
Printer is relatively compact, connected easily to my wifi, and has reasonable response time (typically about a 15-20 second delay before beginning to print). I find the ink lasts through a good amount of copying. The color is nice and great for standard color printing (not for photos). The scanning works great and I often use mine as a photocopier. It has limited memory so you can only scan about 5 pages at a time then wait for a few pages to print before scanning more pages. I like that I can print from my iPhone just as easy as from my laptop. For the money it is one of the best small business printer/copier you can buy.

B tech service slow, sucks. No idea what doing. Incredible waste of time.
Machine wouldn't work, hours trying to get it loaded and functioning to no avail, then over four hours on hold, chat and phone w Brother totally fruitless.Prob was, would wireless print just fine, would not scan to e mail, a function I vitally need, kept getting "machine not registered". Check on B site, machine shows as registered. Also, machine makes loud whining noise while printing.Instead of focusing on main problem they spent all their time on printer making whining noise while printing. All but accused me of using aftermarket toner drums in a BRAND NEW machine delivered w 4 genuine B carriages and drums to cause whining.I had to read all 4 21 digit serial nos on drums, disassemble, reassemble drums, cartridges, test each color separately w all others removed, they all whined. after over 4 hours on hold, on chat, on phone w techs, nothing. No resolution of problem, never addressed prob I called about. Even refused to replace machine under warranty (only 10 days old). And I thought HP was bad! which is why I switched to BFinally had to use Amazon's 30 day return to get a replacement. Amazon (not Brother) bent over backwards to help. Then, different probs w replacerment machine, never would link to L

Another great Brother printer!
I have 3 Brother printers, two printers AIO color inkjets and one is a color laser. This is my fourth and I always look at the brother printers because they are workhorse printers. have excellent quality prints and are fail-safe. I never update the firmware and always use the lesser expensive toners and refillable cartridges which work great. This printer is nice as usual for Brother printers and the one thing that was a selling point for this model was that it will do "SINGLE PASS" double sided prints, copies and scans which makes it a little quicker. Overall and nice printer that is all you will need if running a medium size office and want great fast output and reliable low-cost prints and supplies.

Pain to set up, but good home stand-in to the big corp. office printer.
I'm only a week in on this printer. The setup was not very intuitive. I used our home WiFi for connection, but I couldn't get the scanning to work from the machine. After speaking with tech support, I was told that the drivers couldn't be installed given my version of Windows 11. Bummer. Ended up connecting via USB...now I got my quick scanning. This complication was my primary reason for the 4-star vs. 5.On the up side, the printer is cool looking. Once set up (again, a pain in the...), it is super easy to scan. The automatic bed feeder allows me to stack a bunch of papers in it and scan them quickly. The autoloading scanner scans both sides in one pass. Very clean! The bed scanner is very nice too. Software that came with is alright. Nothing to write home about, but does allow you to customize what your scan from machine options are. For example, I have my scan to OCR button produce a PDF that opens in Adobe. I have the image scan button send the file to Adobe Photoshop for editing. The general scan to file button is set up to send the file to a predetermined folder as a JPG. This as all super cool and pretty easy to set up. Printing is fine. Colors are duller than I was expecting, but I don't have anything to reference to other than the $1.00 per page color print from FedEx Office. Excited about the printer for my home. This is a downsized comparison to the fancy $1,200 a month leased super machines in most corporate offices that I'm used to.

Splurged for the home, works great!
My husband and I both work from home for our jobs, and also occasionally need to scan and print documents for family, our lawyer, clients, etc. This is great for a household that wants something at the ready for the occasional document, or a family with kids who need things printed for school. Also great if you have a large document. Not complicated to use, the largest document we printed at one time was 100-300 pages (just needed to keep adding paper), and then spent an afternoon scanning and uploading multiple pdf files for work, and nothing jammed or was an issue. This was an investment for us, so if you plan on only printing/scanning once every few months, I don't think it's worth it. The only caveat is that when this was delivered it is VERY HEAVY. Two adults carried it up three flights of stairs in the box, but there's no one someone can carry the box without help. Plan ahead!

expensive but a great product
expensive but worth the price, best software that is maintained, great scanning and printing both one sided and two. Easy to set up and works with both 2.4 and 5 ghz WiFi
