The media could not be loaded. This shredder is perfect for the home when you want to shred paperwork regularly.It shreds paper vertically and horizontally which is more thorough and convenient. It is also rather quick as you can easily shred 6-7 pages of paper at a time.The noise level is comparable to any shredder I suppose but you would usually only use it for a few minutes at a time anyway, it's not supposed to e used continuously.The volume of the container is large enough so you don't have to empty it too often, but it stills feels compact and can be stored away under your desk without taking too much space.The functionalities are what you would expect - regular shredding, backwards motion if you paper is stuck (never happened to me though), auto-stop or continuous, etc...Overall, this is a good quality, sturdy shredder for home usage.It was delivered within 24 hours, and although it was damaged during transport (which has nothing to do with the vendor), they exchanged it right away and sent a new one the day after - brilliant customer service and very good experience so far. I have had it for months and it is still working perfectly.

Update - 12/10/24In fairness to Bonsaii I felt it only right to update my earlie negative 1 star review as they have now replaced my shredder with a brand new one.It took a few days for them to get in touch with me but, once they did, things moved on swiftly smoothly. I was asked to send a video of my shredder in operation and within an hour or so they contacted me to say a replacement would be sent to me and it arrived today.From the off the new shredder is way better than the original with the motor and cutters running smoothly and to my mind faster. I suspect there may have been an issue with the original right from the start which got progressivley worse over the last few months.So as things stand I'm pleased with the outcome.Compared to previous shredders I've had I have been dissapointed with the performance of this Bonsaii 8-Sheet Cross Cut Paper Shredder, Credit Cards/Mail/Staples/Clips Shredder for Home Use with 16 Litres Bin (C261-C). From first use the motor has just not seemed powerful enough, it has never managed 8 pages as advertised. I have regularly used lubrication sheets but thos has not improved performance in fact over the past two or three months it has got worse. It now struggles to shred 2 pages.The shredder is still under warrenty and so I have have used the so called "Product Support Site" to report the issue to Bonsaiibut had no reponse. Interestingly though, Amazon have been in touch asking me to review their product support which isn't possible because I havent received any!!!

I’m really impressed with this Bonsaii 8-Sheet Cross Cut Paper Shredder! It arrived the very next day, which was a great start. The power cable is a decent length, making it easy to position without needing an extension. What really stands out is the fantastic amount of bin storage, meaning I don’t have to empty it constantly. It shreds paper smoothly and efficiently, handling multiple sheets at a time with ease. Overall, a great purchase—works exactly as expected and feels well-built. Highly recommend!

I used this shredder once and it worked as expected. However, when I attempted to use it a second time, the cutters failed to operate entirely. Despite troubleshooting, I was unable to get it working again. I also attempted to return the item but was unsuccessful.In my experience, Amazon purchases are generally reliable and straightforward, but this product did not meet those standards. I would advise potential buyers to consider more dependable alternatives.Let me know if you'd like it tailored further for a specific tone (e.g., slightly more technical, strongly worded, etc.). IfThis shredder was used once worked perfectly well, I went to use a second time and the shredder would not shred the cutters would not work, I tried to return this item but was unable to do so.Normally when you buy items on Amazon. This product was far from that and I would advise other customers to look for more reliable paper shredder.

Excellent paper shredder,has a large capacity bin, very easy to use and cuts the paper well into tiny pieces. Great value for money and should last for years. Very happy with it.

First one broke after about a month. But got on to customer service and got a replacement after sending a video of the problem. I got a replacement very quickly and happily say it is still going strong.

Overall, this is a good *home* shredder, but would get something more powerful for commercial office / small business use.The good points: effective crosscut shredding, decent storage space & good safety features, at a pretty cheap price. Will handle typical household needs, like regular and slightly thicker stock paper (like some advertising flyers), envelopes & old credit cards.It's somewhat noisy when in operation, but that's pretty standard. The only significant criticism I have is that the shredder is under-powered. It is advertised as having an 8 page capacity, which might be technically true, but in reality it really struggles with 8 sheets of standard A4 at once. The motor will whine under the strain and the shredding speed slows down quite significantly if doing a batch of 8 pages at once. It will even struggle with 5-6 pages at once, and the motor will quickly overheat within just a few minutes of continuous feeding of 6-8 page batches. If you've got dozens or hundreds of pages to shred, you'll want to limit feeding batches to 3-4 pages at once to keep the shredding speed up & avoid overheating the motor. For this reason, I'd avoid this model for any type of business / office use & get something more powerful.
