My favorite mouse, now wireless
Ok so let me start off by saying, if this was about the durability alone of this mouse then hands down this thing is a beast. Ive dropped it so many damn times due to my lapboard I prefer to use with my pc setup. It cannot be said enough how much better having a wireless version of this mouse was a solid play on Corsairs part. And in my specific case its no exception, however it doesn't make me drop it any less i do have to admit. So on the part of durability, I'm still currently using the same mouse while writing this and will not plan on getting anything else until this has finally had enough abuse. Judging by the countless times I have though I cant see that happening anytime soon. The side buttons are the reason why anyone would get this mouse and they are absolutely worth it. Once you get them setup make sure to put them into the onboard memory of the mouse. I think my only issue i could truly have with this mouse would be Corsairs software. The only times I have any issues is when I have it plugged into my PC and it decides to forget all my settings on my pc. But as long as you still have the proper settings on your device you should still be able to transfer those to the pc again with no issues. But again just a very small complaint to a massive love of this mouse. Just get it if you are on the fence and play a game that you need that many buttons for. Once you do, I couldn't think of going to anything else.

Corsair Scimitar Elite Wireless: Button-Packed Powerhouse
The CORSAIR SCIMITAR ELITE RGB WIRELESS MMO Gaming Mouse is loaded with 16 programmable buttons that are great for MMO macros, but the 12-button side panel takes time to get used to, and I still mess up occasionally. The adjustable Key Slider helps find a comfy thumb spot, and the wireless performance is smooth with okay battery life.

Not as good as the Redragons or Logitechs.
The mouse will often not work after the computer has returned from sleep. This happens in both Bluetooth and RF modes. The mouse is far too light and slippery to be useful. Clicking the buttons moves the mouse unless you have an excessively strong grip on it.The top buttons are too light and do not give sufficient feedback when clicked. The mouse wheel cannot be clicked without also scrolling the wheel. The side buttons work well and being able to reposition them is nice.I would like a larger mouse but that's just how mice are made and I understand why they are made small. That did not factor into my rating.I bought this to replace a Logitech G600 that is getting older. The G600 is vastly superior. There is no comparison.I had a wireless Logitech MMO mouse before that which was the best one by far. I forget the model.I also have a Redragon M913 and while quite inexpensive and fairly cheaply made it is also superior to this Corsair Scimitar.

Nice integration
I was hoping for a white mouse. Corsair had one but I had to give up white for the Scimtar. Software and hardware integration work with perfection. Easy install and easily moved into production / play. I’m able to use it in a non supported OS and all the promised OS’es. Binded with the 60 series keyboard without difficulty. I’m able to run 4 different drivers for 4 mice and 4 keyboards at the same with only trivial issues on my favorite OS. (I’ve only had it going 24 hours so the trivial stuff is probably on me.)The mouse is very easy to use. It has a rubberized coating. The Corsair logo the middle button and the numeric right thumb keypad are all lit up with RGB. Comes with a long cord. Middle button triggers DPI.I love the mouse. Nice job Corsair! Sweet device!

Perfect Gaming Mouse
I like to game in my recliner and this thing is perfect. Just save your settings within the mouse itself and put it on bluetooth mode. The wireless dongle is iffy.

Great when it works... But.
Long story short - by default the hardware-mapped functions are anti-mmo/shooter until you download corsairs iCUE software (allows you to remap keybinds )Until you do this, holding down the left and right mouse buttons for a few seconds starts the reset function and will do the following:- Continuously press the last number you used at the time of the reset, like '3333333...', and will disable the ability to use the side number keys until you reboot the mouse. Clicking into search bars, text chats, pressing the windows key, will only type out a steady stream of 3's (or whatever number's repeating).- Disable the number keys entirely, requiring you to do the factory reset mouse function. Sometimes this doesn't work, requiring a full system restart or uninstalling/reinstalling the mouses drivers.- Turns off and disconnects the mouse, which then when turned on will do what was stated above. This can be infuriating if you play an MMO that requires both mouse keys to be pressed at times, and you use the side number keys to use skills. Or if you're playing a shooter, this WILL occur while aiming and shooting (holding right mouse to aim, while shooting with your left mouse button.).When this mouse works it's great, but until I figured out how to get around the resetting issue - it's quite predatory to require iCUE for full function - Its just a fancy paperweight and you're better off getting something else.
