If your adaptor supports 12V PD, this works fine
I am using this to power a 12V fan using a power brick that supports 12V and it works fine. The use case isn't particularly complicated, but for my purposes it works well.I was a little surprised to find the "2 pack" delivered with the two pieces connected to each other, but considering the size, it probably makes them less likely to get lost. They broke apart without difficulty and with no problems on the boards.

Works Great
Wanted to try to make a few 12v travel DC power supply dongle type things for my job. I made a rough enclosure and 3D printed it with some leads and this solution is so much more convenient than needing a DC wall-wart. I already had a usb-c charger that can do 12V output steps.

Get rid of those stupid barrel plugs
These are so nice. I've started to take apart all of my electronics that use barrel plugs, replacing those with USB C. I think it's wonderful to not need dedicated adapters for all of my electronics. I've retrofitted battery chargers, network switches, my elliptical machine, a charger for wireless headphones, and more. As i have a bunch of outlets in my house that also have native USB C, it just makes for a super clean look.Love these things - though obviously be cognizant of what voltages you need.

Garbage.
Jumpers do nothing. What you put into is what come out of it. As use as a straight piece of wire, but cost more. Junk.

Small but SUPER helpful
This little device is just awesome. You can trick your portable cell phone style battery bank to output 12V at 5 amps max. Other voltages are possible (if your pack and trigger supports it). You need a true PD USB-C output and cable. Once you do, you can use this for everything and let the battery pack deal with the batteries. Works great and I wish I knew about them sooner.

As long as you need 12 volts, this should work a treat
I used these for an LED project at work. The beauty of these is that you can power a big set of LEDs with either a small phone charger or a good sized power bank. Add a buck circuit or a 5v UBEC near the LEDs, and you will never need to worry about wire length or voltage droop. Even better, this is a compact form factor, so you can hide the connection easilyThis is fixed voltage, so you will need to get the voltage that suits your needs (9v, 12v, 15v, 20v). So this is less suited for prototypes where you may want reusability and the ability to adjust the output. There are trigger boards with that capability in the same form factor, but they are a huge pain to adjust. It's better to get the larger trigger boards that have DIP switches.

Works great for under 30w or so
These are all working great 12.2-3v at low loads and around 30w starts to dip I to high 11’s you can spike 40-45w but then it’ll voltage drop and shut off, any request near 3amps can’t be sustained but moreThan enough for what I expected how small it is etc.Planning on powering some automotive bench harnesses with this as the power regulator instead of ac adaptors with them

These are the ones to get
If you're impatient like me and can't wait for 3 weeks to get an AliExpress order, these definitely will work. I verified 12v output when using a PD charger and C-C cables. A-C will only do 5v!The added bonus here is these can technically be adjusted, there are instructions on the back of the board as to which pins to bridge, these just come pre-bridged for the requested voltage. They are very small though so you will need some soldering experience and good equipment. If I need more USB-C stuff for various projects, I will definitely be ordering again!
