Bought this on a whim before we went on a 5 day car camping trip to a music festival and my husband and I both say it was our favorite part of our car camping setup. We were able to sleep with the trunk open while still having privacy from the netting, and it allowed a breeze to come through the car which felt so nice and saved us from the high temps (we have similar mesh covers for our windows so we can keep them rolled down too). But the privacy aspect was the game changer. For changing clothes, taking a nap, etc, I didn’t have to shut the car and feel trapped and stuffy in the back (which can feel extra terrible in midday heat). Just zip it up and you’re good to go. It made car camping much more comfortable for me.The only downside is that the magnets aren’t the strongest, and without fail we’d pull a couple out of place each time we’d climb in the back. But we found it super easy to put them back in place even from the inside. A small inconvenience, and maybe there are sturdier ones out there, but this one was still worth it in my opinion.

It’s big- like way bigger than the Ca hatch of my 2007 Honda Pilot. I have magnets to help hold it. It is super slippery and hard to get into place.I just kept it instead of trying to find one that was a better fit.It seems like it will keep insects out.I camp out of mySUV- and it’s too hot with the back hatch closed.Summer is coming get one if you don’t like skeeters in your car/van/suv

I purchased this for the sliding side door on my Honda Odyssey. Just completing two months of car camping in coastal Mexico and Belize. The screen was effective at keeping out mosquitoes and sandflies. Easy to put on and take off (sudden tropical storms). Zipper never failed me. My only complaint was that the magnets across the top could be a little larger - on two occasions I pulled of the screen entirely as I was exiting. I'll simply glue on a few more magnets across the top seam when I get home. Meanwhile, I will be ordering another one for the rear, swing-up door.

Nice in summer and keeps the bugs out so we can keep the hatch up.

Needs more magnets to prevent gaps and less fuss over getting it just right only for it all to come off when getting in. It needs stronger or bigger or more magnets. It's also very long making it drag or pull down against magnets. Otherwise it would work well.
