So much better than the glass coffee press I used previously. The biggest advantage is how it keeps the coffee hot for my second cup. It’s so easy to clean and I love the contemporary design. It’s chic enough to leave on the counter. So far I’ve just made coffee with it and next I’ll try it with loose tea.

34oz metal color. I got this in Feb (its now mid may) and I just gotta say I really like this press. The materials used is VERY solid. Keeps the coffee warm for longer, than say the glass type or thinner metal products.I put 3 coffee scoops of course grind coffee in bottom. Add a splash of boiling water and let it sit for like 30 seconds. Then I add the rest of water till about 2 inches from top.Leave for 3 mins and then press.Makes about 2 bigger cups of coffee or possible 3 of smaller cups.The design is sleek and it just looks good.No noise.NO plastic (which is what I want)and absolutely no leaking. Best coffee maker money can buy.

Got this when I knocked over and broke my glass one. I should have bought stainless steel to begin with! I especially like the double wall insulated construction.

Not impressed. I've had and used a few French press coffee makers. I bought this one for my wife because it's unbreakable stainless steel rather than glass. The thermal double wall insulated construction is lacking. Pouring boiling water in and letting it brew is fine, but after a minute or so, the exterior gets very warm... not hot. The contents drops to room temperature within an hour and the coffee/tea is cold. The construction is good and parts fit well. The lid has an arrow etched on the top to line it up with the spout which can be difficult to see if you are vision impared.impaired. Instructions and features are printed on the box. I'll probably keep it. The handle is designed so I can have my Daughter in law crochet a pot cozy or make one to help insulate it. It comes with two extra screens. As is typical of other French presses, the fine sediment will pass through the screen. If you find the annoying, you can pour it through a coffee filter. The screen is easy to unscrew from the stem to clean it. I use a silicone spatula to clean the pot. I like the size. It's not too large so my wife is able to handle it easily, but has a good capacity to fill a large mug.

I previously had been using a black colored French Press that I found at a local grocery store, and it was great. I later found after a couple cycles in the dishwasher, that the black paint used was not holding up well in washings, so paint was flaking off all over, and some times in my coffee. This was purchased, in Stainless, to prevent that from happening.The press feels solid and very sturdy. The handle and base are very robust, no moving parts here. The lid seems well designed as most do, the filter portion on the bottom threads on. When cleaning, I tend to loosen the filter portion a bit to get grounds out of the filter and metal ring at the bottom, then thread it back snug again. The plunger is smooth and has no snags.Really this is a super basic design and done very well. It looks great, there's no plastic that I can see, and where I generally have a 20oz cup of coffee every morning, the 34oz option is more than I need, perfect size if I want to make an extra cup for my girlfriend, etc.The small arrow on the front is kinda handy so you don't really have to look for where to rotate the lid, handy little touch. I noticed that when sealed, the coffee pours out in a controlled stream and doesn't seem to leak around the sides at all. Much cleaner than my last french press.So far so good!

So far so great!! Great quality, double walled. Keeps coffee hotter than glass. Super easy to clean! I fill it with hot tap water while the water for coffee is heating up. Keeps the coffee even hotter that way… we are super pleased with this purchase! Buy it, you will not be disappointed 👍🏼👍🏼

I have been using Bodem French presses for years, but got tired of the glass carafe breaking. I bought this to give it a try. No more worry about broken glass. It brews coffee exactly the same way as Bodem. It also has an arrow on the lid, which works much better. It also is insulated and keeps your coffee hot for much longer. I'm glad I bought this, and you will be too.
