You read this and realize why you think you are going totally mad!!! Dr's have no idea how to diagnose some Thyroid problems!! Especially when your immune system is down ! Antibodies high!! Levels low but still won't be given any Thyroxine!!! I have symptoms an arm and a leg long!!! taking pain killers by the box to relieve my pain! (total I can have in 24 hrs) Good read to realize you need to take the book with you to get anything sorted out!!!!

Very informative if you have a Thyroid problem. I have learned a great deal since reading it and can now do battle with my Doctor on the subject.

This book is brilliant. I particularly was interested in learning how the TSH reference range is arrived at, which shattered any illusions I might have had left about the objectivity of the medical profession. Buy it, read it, ponder on the knowledge it brings. Being edited by Janie Bowthorpe, M.Ed., who brought Stop the Thyroid Madness to the world, it cannot be anything other than thought-provoking.

Some paragraphs a bit medically technical for lay person, but there's enough info in this book to assist patients suffering with the health issues a lot of Hypothyroid patients suffer to be of interest to them. Glad I bought this book.

I found this book informative but felt it was very biased towards not and would have liked to have seen more research evidence included

Purchased this for my mum who has been on thyroxine for 20years. She is going private regarding T3. Brilliant book.

There was too much information to take in about this condition.

An excellent self instruct and help reference for Thyroid problems.Easy to follow, helps you to ask the right questions when dealing with medical specialists.
