Tiny box with excellent sound and powerful output.
I am so very happy with this little gem. A tiny box with an awesome sound. I bought it to repair my temperamental Philips 2.1 sound system. This amplifer module requires a 12 to 24 volt DC power supply. I used an old laptop PSU which was rated 19.5V @ 2.3A. Included with the amp was a 2.1mm DC power adapater with screw-terminals, making PSU connections a total doddle. Brilliant idea...Once connected to some speakers and fed with audio, it sounded absolutely great, far superior to the original Philips amplifer. Turning the shiny volume control to between 11 and 12 o'clock was plenty loud enough for my poor old speakers. Any louder and they would probably shred or melt. I really like the adjustment of tone between the sub woofer and tweeters. I quickly found the sweet spot for my system. Listening to a variety music styles from D&B to Medieval choral demonstrated just how good a tone this amp can provide. I can't hear any hiss or hum at all. After running the amp at a good listening volume for 3 hours, I found it to be just slightly warm. The laptop PSU was still cool so I have no worries about anything overheating.Just a few minor niggles - When first plugging the power jack in to the amp I got a spark. Very worrying, but no damage done. I wonder if the power jack pins are rubbing on the case. It's a very tight fit under the PCB so I removed the base plate and stuck a layer of electrical insulating tape down there just in case. The volume control doubles as the rotary power-on switch. Be aware it takes several seconds for the amp to boot up. Be warned - Dont crank up the volume immediately because you'll certainly get a sonic shock when the amp kicks in proper!! Lastly, I haven't yet found out how to disable the bluetooth 'bing-bong' sound prompt at power up. Annoying for me but maybe not for you...Overall - Impressive sound. Compact format. Bargain price. I forgive the niggles. I love it. 5-stars I'll probably buy another for the shed...

Great amp
Great little amp. Really good sound for such a small amp. Bargain at £14. Requires some assembly but it's easy enough to do.

Great Value
Works a treat.I used a 24V psu for this and fitted a better heatsink as it can get quite hot!Other than that, once set up and tuned into the speakers it's a great little amp.Edited:Unfortunately the two speaker channels have given up and only the sub channel works at times. It sometimes just sits making a clicking noise. It's only had about 8 hours use in total :-(I'll buy another as it's a cheap option and hope the next one lives much longer.

Didn't work
Had to be completely assembled. The sound was OK? Bluetooth worked but the AUX didn't. Return QR wouldn't work and now I'm passed the return date and the seller won't respond!!!

Superb Bluetooth performance with bottomless separate Sub Bass output
It was a very easy Amp to assemble, with only separating posts, front and back covers to fit.Be Cautious that there are no protruding contacts around power input as mine required cutting down to prevent a short against the back plate. Once trimmed, the Amp is powered up by the front knob and optimal volume and sub level & crossover set but is adjustable by Bluetooth and can be controlled by the Whuzi Audio App.Superb little powerhouse for the price!

No Instructions, but works, Bluetooth always on?
Decent price for a small amplifier.Needed it for a project to connect car speakers to it for use with a computer. No instructions to put it together, looking at images on Amazon it was easy to see how to put it together so I don’t think it’s a big problem, has a bottom and top plate with stand off pegs and screws.Easy to connect the speakers to it, sound is great for what I needed. Not too loud and not too quiet. My only issue that I’ve found so far.It may only be my board not sure for anyone else’s.But when it’s plugged in to power, and the power/volume knob is turned off to turn off the amplifier. The devices bluetooth is still being broadcast and can still be connected to.Only way to stop the Bluetooth being broadcast is to physically unplug the power cable.I don’t know if it’s intended to work this way but I don’t know why it should, if I’ve turned it off it should be off and not still broadcasting.I thought the power/volume button would turn it off completely, why is it still broadcasting Bluetooth if it’s turned off?If a 3.5mm jack is connected, and you connect to the Bluetooth, it will override the 3.5mm jack and play the Bluetooth. There’s no password on the device either so anyone could connect and stop what your audio.I don’t know if this is just me being petty but I think if a switch was fitted on the side to slide between inputs I think that’d be better.Like I said though, decent price for a little amplifier for what was needed for short notice, but the Bluetooth for me is the downfall which is why three stars.Happy for the manufactures to explain if I’ve done anything wrong and I’ll update the review to five but until then, it’ll stay at a three.
