Definitely Accurate Enough To Base Decisions Upon
I have had five of these working in my house over a four month period winter into spring. Running them over time is the way to use them. They are not instant read tools like say a geiger counter. The units connect to the app by Bluetooth and then to WiFi quickly. The app is very easy to use. The units are well made and of an anodyne design. It's not something you leave on display, but they are not offensive or too industrial to look at.Radon data (along with temperature and humidity) is clearly presented in both the app and on the device display. Consistency between devices is good. I have run them side by side, and rotated them through the same rooms. They are sensitive and they use a statistical sampling method, so results are not identical, but the information over time is very consistent. That is to say ** they are definitely accurate enough to base decisions upon **.We bought our house in winter. A professional measured the radon at below 4 pci/l, which I am sure that it was... in February. I now know how much the radon level fluctuates depending upon the weather. We've seen peaks at 20 pci/l and a typical range that moves between 3 and 9 pci/l. I also know how it varies at different points in the house - some areas are consistently higher than others. This view over time has been most informative. Our false sense of security is gone. The house definitely needs radon mitigation - roll on Monday. And once installed, I will also be able to measure the effectiveness of the mitigation system myself, from the comfort of an armchair. If only they were cheaper! But what price your family's health?

Radon is dangerous to your health.
The radon tester showed the levels in my basement to be above the safe limit. 7.2 to 9.7. It gets higher when it rains. Upstairs the tester shows safe limits. The machine shows radon level, temperature and humidity. It works very well and alerts you to unsafe levels. It also connects to you phone (I phone in my case) and displays the readings. If you’re not sure about radon levels this device will answer any questions you may have concerns about.

Exceptional Customer Service
I purchased this device about 18 months ago. It has worked very well and provides temp., humidity, radon, air quality information. This was very helpful during a large addition to our house. The information is accessible on the easy to use app. and stores trending data. The unit is inconspicuous and easily movable to monitor different areas of the house. This provided insight on radon levels if different areas. Surprisingly the basement did not show the highest levels. Radon levels fluctuate quite a bit depending on location, tepm., and the amount of ventilation present. This was very eye opening and useful.Recently I noticed that part of the LED display was degraded. This is not a bit deal since the app is the best way to access the information. I contacted Airthings via chat on their website and got an immediate response. They asked me to upload pictures, and by the next day offered to replace the unit. This was customer service I've not seen from any company in a very long time. The company offers to extend the warranty to 5 years on their website if you register your purchase. I had not done this so technically I was out of warranty. They went the extra mile and replaced the unit for a defect that did not affect the overall function. Again this was top notch service.I would highly recommend Airthings products and the company based on my experience.

Inconsistent results between the Airthings View and Airthings View and poor customer service
I borrowed an Airthings Plus from a friend and was super impressed by its size and ability to check for Radon so easily. I bought an Airthings View and put them side by side to see if there were any differences between the two sensors ( company says it’s the same radon sensor in both)There has been a huge discrepancy between the readings between the units that fluctuates daily (the delta actual gets worse rather than better)The View plus reads a steady 4.5 and the new one reads 2.1-2.4. Reached out to customer service and was put on hold by a bot and was not responsive when I questioned the differences. Poor customerservice.Update: 1 month later. The Airthings View has seemed to settle in a routine that reads the Radon with consistency. I’m not sure if it’s accurate as the Airthings I borrowed and put side by side with my own unit seemed to get higher readings albeit I did not have the borrowed one settle in for more than a week.
