My husband ordered a foam clock that fell off the wall whilst we were at work. Unfortunately it fell against the heater, thankfully there was no fire, but the battery pack did melt therefore rendering the clock useless. He bemoaned his clock, sulking about it for days. I eventually felt terrible for him (and wanted to stop hearing about it), as he had only had it for about a week. I bought this. I liked that this product came with options so I ordered it with the intent on trying to fix the clock. Once it arrived, I read the instructions, let him pick out which hands he wanted and got to work. It took me about 20 minutes to figure it out and put it together. He's now happy that his clock is fixed.Bonus: He likes the new hands more than the original!

Two motors, one with a longer center shaft for the hands. Great for making a clock with the kids, or as a gift if making a unique faceplate, or using unique materials.Proper hand clearance makes all the difference. Be sure to measure correctly! If the hands are bent, it won’t rotate properly. Soft thin metal, so handle them with care when assembling. Several sets of hands in the kit. Also fit the older motor’s original hands.

I took my clock to a repair shop and they said it would cost $70 to fix it. They had it six weeks and gave me the runaround that they couldn't get the correct parts, etc. So, I went and got my clock back and that same day, I ordered these parts. Got my order in two days and it took about 15 minutes to install the parts and battery and it now works fine. I like the quartz movement, too. And, you get two mechanisms, so I will fix another clock I have. Thanks!

Work as expected. No complaints.

We have a wall clock that quit working, so I ordered these at my wife's behest. Once installed, the old clock was revived and has kept perfect time for the past month or so since I installed the kit. And, I have a spare for any other clocks that decide to retire. They are very quiet, the size was a perfect fit and the work perfectly. I had feared the stem might be too long or thick, but it was an absolute perfect fit.

Nice variety of larger clock hands, easy to install mechanism and hands. Good product overall, but.. packing is insufficient to protect delicate items--flimsy, thin plastic box was crushed and many hands were damaged and needed to be bent and straightened to fit properly. Seller needs to beef up sturdiness of original box, Amazon needs to stop using bubble envelopes, and USPS could be a little more gentle perhaps?

The various clock hand options and the two main mechanisms are functional, look great, and quiet. The mechanism was easy to replace since I had the previous clock but a set of instructions may be helpful for installing one in a new item. I would buy again.
