Just what I was looking for!
New purchase but so far I'm really liking it. I was using an old 360 wired controller and started looking for wireless options. Most brands have gone for the Xbox one style controller so this one really stood out to me, and it feels great for what I wanted. So far its been great. Easy to connect to my pc, zero latency issues, and I like the option of switching out the dpad. Haven't had any issues with the battery charge. Just hook it up when you're not gaming and you should be good. Surprisingly the plastic doesn't seem too poor quality. For the price you can't beat it. Whenever this thing goes out I'll have to pick up another one. If you're on the fence I'd say get it!

Great Buy and So Much Better than Xbox Pro
I've clocked over 50 hours on this controller and have no complaints. It feels great in my hands and is built really well. It works flawlessly with both my MSI laptop and my Cyberpower PC, so I can only speak for awesome compatibility with Windows 11. The button layout is exactly what you'd expect and the vibration level is perfect.

Two Died Within Days
I ordered this because of the normally reliability of MSI products. It worked great for a couple of days, but when the battery got low I plugged it in with the cable it came with to charge it overnight and when I came back in the morning it was not only dead, but would not work anymore. No matter of charging it in different devices and methods would work. The overnight charge somehow killed the battery.I decided that it was likely a fluke, because MSI products are normally reliable and so I returned it for another of the exact same model. When I got it the battery wasn't charged much so I used the controller once and then had to plug it in to continue using it. Would you know that the exact same thing happened. After plugging it into the laptop with the cable they provided to charge it. I came back and the controller was completely dead again with now way to charge it.Now it is no longer a fluke, but a pattern. I am returning the second controller as well and buying a different brand now. Disappointed, because I would rather support this company than a random one from China, but it is what it is.

High quality for a great price point
One of the best controllers I have used in a while. I prefer gaming with my ps5 controller as I’ve grown accustomed to it. But this msi gc300 wireless feels amazing. It’s a great price point for the quality of controller. Feels like a controller a pro would use. Easy to set up and the buttons feel great. Overall size of the controller is great as I have huge hands but it doesn’t feel like I’m holding a toddler controller. From what I see the durability should last quite a while even with 4 kids in the house who may end up using it. Compatibility with windows 11 and the ability to map the extra buttons to certain games is amazing. Def will buy another one for my gf and have already recommended to friends. I’ve purchased both gc300 and gc30 v2 and both are wonderful controllers

Superb precise, excellent value, almost 5 stars. But fatal flaw/poor RMA policy ruined my experience
Apart from its micro-USB connector (really, still?), this has all the makings of an outstanding value controller. The stick accuracy exceeds much more expensive units, which is particularly useful in the racing games I play (FH5, NFS, etc.). I really like this controller and would not hesitate to give it five stars if not for the following issues. My unit frequently gets stuck on vibration--rumbling when there's nothing to rumble, even in the pause menu. I had to reset the controller several times a session. Then, the rumble almost completely died and became little more than a distracting rattle. More than an immersion enhancement, vibration is necessary for a good racing experience, as it provides feedback on tire grip and shift times. The rumble has since returned for now, but it still gets stuck a half-dozen times a session, at least.I figured I just got unlucky and wanted to exchange the controller for a new one. While the issue occurred within the first two months of ownership, I was past my Amazon return window. So, when the rumble died, I went to MSI for an RMA. However, I refuse to pay to ship an RMA. Faulty products not caused by the customer should be the company's responsibility entirely. MSI's representatives clearly cared very little about my issue. As such, the whole experience left a bad taste. If MSI had agreed to provide a shipping label, this very well could be a five-star review.Should you try it? Maybe. The controller is otherwise an excellent product, and you may have better luck than me. But I just can't in good conscience give this a positive rating based on my personal experience.

Reliable wireless game controller
I've been a PC guy most of my life, but I never got into console games (Xbox, PlayStation etc.). Consequently I've never been a big user of game controllers, more of a keyboard and mouse guy. That being said this controller seems to work great. I bought it to use with my Windows 11 PC and so far so good. I've used it with some famous retro PC games (Quake I and II) and it works fine with them (even though I don't like playing those with a game controller).I don't know the specifics about analog vs digital joysticks, but it has both modes. And the wireless feature has no problems. It comes with two cables, a short USB-C to USB-C for charging, and a longer USB-C to USB-A for both charging and a wired connection.Like I said I don't have any game consoles so I can't comment on how it works with those, but I can't see how it wouldn't work fine.
