VERY HIGH QUALITY KIT FOR THE MONEY AND WORKS GREAT!
I bought this set to reassemble the clutch and pressure plate in my 1929 Packard Dietrich Club Sedan because nobody has extra pilot shafts for the job. This thing lined the clutch up perfectly, and literally, when we stuck that big 225 pound transmission, it went straight in on the first push - we were stunned!WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS KIT - BANG FOR THE BUCK, I DON'T THINK YOU CAN DO BETTER!

Not Great
Although the tool got the job done, I had to modify everything to make it work. The pilot bearing inserts are not machined to the proper tolerances. I did not bother to measure them, but there was significant slop with any of the adapters I tried. I ended up picking the pilot bearing insert that was the closest match and wrapping it in electrical tape and then shoving it in the pilot bearing for a tight fit. Tight fitment on the pilot bearing is crucial or your clutch and flywheel will not be aligned properly. If you are using this tool I recommend using the tape trick to ensure good fitment. Because I couldn't get a good fitment with the pilot bearing adapter and had to resort to using tape, I had to be very careful and ensure I held the tool shaft straight. Normally if it fit in the bearing as expected, there would be minimal slop and you won't have to focus on keeping the guide shaft straight. In the end I was able to make it work because my OEM clutch never came with a disposable cheap plastic clutch alignment tool. For whatever reason I don't know. So I had to use this, but it is far from ideal. The plastic insert tools work better, so if you have one stick with that.

Not that easy to use
Trying to line up my clutch with this tool kinda sucked so i was glad my new clutch came with its own alignment tool, which was far better.
