Strong suction and light weight
This is the best portable vacuum I’ve ever used. Works equally great on battery and plugged into house power. Picks up pet hair from auto upholstery is most impressive. 👍🏼

Great item!!!
Need new hose! AssemblyWould like it to have longer hose and a car cleaning kit to be included!

Portable, could come w/ a drywall dust filter.
Works well, a little underpowered for serious auto vacuuming but great for around the shop, light remodeling jobs. If you’re running with a battery get a 5amp or bigger. Small max batteries last about 30min. -1hr

Overall, a good tool, be aware of the discharge angle of the outlet.
This does exactly what you would think and has pretty good power and battery life. My only complaint would be the discharge port is in a really bad location and ends up blowing around the dirt you haven't yet vacuumed up so you have to be very conscious of the orientation of the unit. Inserting a short length of hose into the discharge side solves that problem and makes it much more usable.

The design of this machine is perfect! Suction is just fine for what I need in small areas!
The media could not be loaded. It’s the best design overall! I love this machines design with both battery and cord as well as it is genius in the design holding all the attachments and just the Convenience in portability of it it’s a great machine. I love it. Do you wish you had a little bit more power but as you can see in the video it works just fine for small jobs!

It sucks & blows
This shopvac sucks and blows great & works with other 1¹/4 shopvac attachments. Not too loud or too heavy. Didn't quite use a full 5ah battery vacuuming my Nissan Rogue, I didn't run it all at once, just sections. I've only used it just this one time so far. We'll see how it plays out.

This vacuum hardly sucks--which makes it useless
This vacuum barely--no significant suction when cleaning--and that makes it practically useless. Yet, despite not being powerful, it has a short battery life. How poor is the suction on this pump? When I was cleaning up after repairing a large paper shredder, the vacuum missed pieces of shredded paper, as well as the paper dust, that had fallen from the shredder and were flat on the floor. This vacuum has trouble picking up things like spilled rice or popcorn on a linoleum. It doesn't even do a very good job of picking up the little piles dust and dirt that you leave when you use a broom and dustpandThese are all things a Bissell plug-in upright vacuum I had bought 5 years ago for $42 on sale at Target can pick up with no problem.I bought this DeWalth cordless vacuum because I wanted a portable vacuum for cleaning up my work areas and my car.I chose DeWalt because I had two other cordless DeWalt tools, a drill and an air pump, that I liked. I figured I could share batteries with these. I've been more than happy with my DeWalt drill and my DeWalt pump. Both the drill and the pump have worked well and have had good battery lives. (The battery life for the pump has been especially good.)This qualities of this vacuum as a tool stands in stark contrast to those of the pump and the drill. This vacuum fails to be a good tool due to it's low suction, short battery, and mediocre design.I find the battery life to be very short. I haven't measured it but I now take an extension cord with me on the infrequent occasions when I use it, because it the battery often fails before the work is done. (Part of the reason the work isn't done before the battery is dead is because the vacuum's lack of effective suction means that any job takes about 3 times as long as it should. Actually, I usually just take another vacuum.Further, the vacuum's overall design isn't great. The accessory mounts are fussy, with the accessories falling off easily. The cord management system is not very good, as the cord easily comes free. I use a velcro strap to keep the place. (You can run this vacuum on battery or on corded power, but its suction is poor no matter the power source.) The vacuum is also not particularly easy to keep clean.DeWalt has a reputation for excellence. My prior experiences with DeWalt cordless tools had uniformly been consistent with DeWalt's reputation for great poor tools. Consequently, the inadequacies of this vacuum has been a great disappointment.Perhaps all cordless portable vacuums are this bad, but I find that hard to believe. I've used small corded vacuums that work better than this vacuum. Notably, this vacuum doesn't work any better when it's running of corded power. Its suction's just inadequate. I'm not asking this vacuum to perform as well as a $1000+ Miele, but I think if might work half as well as my $42 Bissell--but it doesn't.If you want a portable vacuum, I'd suggest trying it out in person first. Based on my experience with this DeWalt vauum, I recommend buying a brand of cordless vacuum other than a DeWalt. This vacuum is terrible and it has tarnished DeWalts good reputation.
