Edit: I have bought more of these lights since my initial review and I'm just more impressed with them all the time. I'll never buy another brand of strobe light. They are very durable and have withstood hits from big tree branches and even getting scraped on beams in a building. For the best visibility get the clamps and mount them to a head rack or Backrack. It gets it up just a little higher and more visible. If that isn't an option bolting to the roof is just fine. I would recommend going with the Amber and White over straight Amber if you want the highest level of visibility.This light has all the settings you could possibly want,it's super bright and easy to see day or night. It was very easy to install too. I removed the magnets and bolted it to the roof. If you have a perfectly flat solid roof on an older semi or pickup truck the magnets might hold. On a newer truck with a lighter roof they will not hold at highway speeds. It screws down easily with the brackets provided and works great. It's about twice as bright as my other brand roof bars and the strobes are extremely far reaching in every direction. Don't be fooled if it looks dim up close. The further away you get the brighter it is. Excellent value for the money.

really worried on weather or not this would stay on the roof of my truck. so far its been on there for months of me driving up and down the highway 70-80 mph at times and it hasn't moved at all, no scratches from what I can find. light is bright and the ability to choose patterns is nice. it holds onto the pattern even after being unplugged. no water in housing, quality light for a really good price.

Great light. Would recommend a waterproof connector at the light, in case anyone like me wants to keep the light on the roof, instead of constantly removing, which is somewhat tricky with the magnets. I cut the cable, added a waterproof connector and replaced magnets with stronger ones because of where it lands on my roof. Recommend light.

Just got my light bar and so far so good. Shipping was quick and it came it new condition. Used it twice for plowing and it worked great. it's very bright. As for the magnets strength, will they hold the bar to the roof? Time will tell. I haven't had it at highway speeds yet. The downfalls I've found are 1) you can't tell what pattern you're using from inside of the truck, 2) the mounting brackets would be better if they were adjustable. I wanted to mount the bar to my roof rack cross bars for extra height but couldn't do it. Other than that I like the bar. I may update after I have it for a while.

This is an excellent light bar, very strong magnets. Fits well between by roof rack bars. It has about 10 settings with multiple flash options including full right or full left. Very bright and clear on all four sides. This was a very good buy price wise and quality overall. The power wire run is very long and no problem running inside to the power outlet, the power outlet has two switches, one for on/off and the other for light flash setting which will remember itself the next time you turn it on.

I got this bar to add to my installed flashing lights. I use it for either right or left flash patterns when working on the side of the road. All my work is in the road. I know it can be seen because even on I-95 the car start to move over. I also used nylon straps to secure it the inside. The Magnets are strong but not that strong for every day highway use. With the straps I have went thru car washes and 3 hours at highway speed. I only turn it on and off because it is a pain to keep switching pattern to pattern as there is no indication as what pattern you are on from the inside. A Pattern indication inside would help.I have this on my roof for 2 months now, Still very bright, does not cause any wind noise. No water in the lens.Over all I am very happy.Thanks for a Quality product at a good price when you have to buy it your self.UPdateI have since add another one to the Back of my Truck. I loosened the screws and turned the two light bars 90 deg., In Have them mounted on a vertical surface. So I have one one the roof ( facing front and back ) and one one my back rack ( Both Facing Back).So Far both are preforming great. Pulled the wire up to the 12v outlet on my dash.

I bought this for my company patrol vehicle (2014 Ford Explorer Police Interceptor). It has a great selection of flash patterns (switches on plug are easy to operate, and cord is PLENTY long enough...had to use a small zip-tie to secure excess), it is VERY bright (even in daylight, but especially at dusk/night), has STRONG attachment when applied to the roof (held on tight at 70+ mph highway speed), and is just about the perfect size for this type of vehicle. The media could not be loaded. I order 2 of these amber/red light bars. The light bars are very bright during the day and night. The magnets holds the light bar secure and can be driven in speeds of 60-70MPH without worry. The price is reasonable for what the price is. I'll update again on how the lightbars handle the summer heat weather.
