DSD TECH SH-G01A USB Isolator with ADUM3160 Chip 12M

We were getting some background noise when playing MP3 audio from PC during worship services. We use a Behringer UCA 222 external UBS audio interface; we were getting noticeable computer noises like a hiss when unmuting sound board. Placing this USB isolator between the PC and audio interface eliminated the hiss.

This worked initially. Did what it was supposed to do, then stopped working altogether. I confirmed the problem is the isolator, light is on but anything plugged into it cannot communicate with the computer. I tried other USB ports. No help. Devices plugged directly into computer USB work, so it is definitely the isolator. Contacted the seller. Will see if they make it right.

I use Mackie HR 824 monitors and a USB to XLR output. THese speakers were more sensitive to noise than my old pair and I was hearing all sorts of stuff, after putting this on the USB, I have about a 90% noticible reduction in noise on the output.

I bought this to eliminate additional noise that was created when connecting an audio/MIDI device to my computer through both USB and audio output. It completely eliminates the noise.

This USB isolator is working fine so far with my Hantek 6022BL. Without an isolator the Hantek shares a common ground with the computer, but with the isolator the ground is separate. Just what I needed!

It just did not help my problems !

I used this to eliminate a ground loop in the nexstar plus controller coming from an asi air. I can now use my mount to image and avoid no response errors from the loop!

even though it's not written on the sale page for the item, the instrucion manual states in it clearly that this will not work for USB audio islotaion, when I plug my dac/amp into it it won't even come on....
