The answers given to this question is the external size of the basket. Internal basket dimensions are 9 3/8" X 9 5/8" X 4" high. So... 9 3/8" X 9 5/8" for parchment paper.

Q: Can you bypass the preheat function? a lot of recipes state do not preheat. btw, loving my air fryer so far.

Absolutely you can. You simply add your food in the beginning before the preheating has come to temp; just like a regular oven. It’s no different. Depending on the food, this can be a pro or a con but YOU will be the judge not the machine. And FYI, every air fryer out there has to come to temperature (i.e. preheat). It’s just a matter of whether or not the machine lets you know when the temp has been reached. Personally, I appreciate being notified. I appreciate being able to determine as the “chef” whether or not I want my food in before or after reaching temp. I hope this helps.

Q: Does the glass get dirty and how do you clean the glass so it remains transparent if so?

In all honesty, yes. Yes, the inner “glass” gets dirty. It took me a bit but discovered that the inner layer is glass and the outer layer a plastic or some other synthetic material. You unscrew the 4 screws from the basket with tiny washers and it separates. You hand wash from there. I highly suggest however that you regularly clean with a clean wet rag and cleaner spray bottle so as not to submerge the drawer at all with water. This should elongate the amount of time before you have to do all of that again.

Q: How do I get it to restart when the timer is done? It just says end and I have to unplug to start it again.

You can't. This is a horrible feature that I wish I knew about before purchasing. However, the fastest way is to just unplug it and replug it back in to start cooking a new batch of food. I like this air fryer and normally only need to do one cook at a time but sometimes I do have to through a different food item in the unit and having to wait 8 minutes for it to cool down and reset seems like a flaw in engineering even though they try to pass it off as a "safety feature". I've had many air fryers and never had one that did this.
