Q: Will this drain the battery on a truck?

That depends how you wire it in. I tapped into the cigarette lighter. On my truck the cigarette lighter only has power when my keys are in thee ignition.

Q: What gauge wires does this take?

i would run 12gau power and ground to unit and the wires to accessories depend on the load probably 16 gauge . I would run in line fuse for power feed and separate ones to each accessory

Q: Will this work on a 150 cc scooter, neg to the battert and positive to the stater??

I installed on an ATV, so it would work on a scooter. Positive goes to any wire that is "hot" when it is running. Negative goes to any bolt on your metal frame.

Hello we use 1 as a ground side which will be the - one and the + is the positive side depending on what your using it for a 16 Gauge fuse holder with a 5 amp fuse will work and hook it up the other end to power source as a battery and you'll receive voltage.

Put this on my 3rd gen 4runner and it works great. Fits perfectly in the cubby to the left of the wheel and I got it in green led that matches the dash. Would definitely recommend to those 3rd gen Runners that off-road deep.
