Wife buys large jars of hand lotion but prefers to use a squeeze tube for the lotion. Tubes only have a small opening. These syringes are perfect as they can be easily filled and the lotion can be squirted into the squeeze tube.

I have been using a basic syringe from Walmart to hand feed dozens of baby parrots ranging from conures and cockatiels to bigger parrots like eclectus and an amazon gray. It works fine for parrots that are eager to eat, but it is absolutely terrible for the babies that want to taste their food. It can sometimes take 10+ minutes to feed a single picky eater and you simply don't have that much time if you are feeding a clutch of baby parrots. I recently purchased 3 baby parrots to hand feed and thought I would try these syringes out for a change. They cut my feeding time down from 15 minutes to 3 minutes! These syringes are the absolute best ever! And as an added bonus, you don't get baby food all over your parrot's face, chest, and feathers.

I was already skeptical when I saw how it was packaged. The outside plastic was dirty, but I opened the unsealed box just to check. There was a literal black hair inside of the syringe and it was WET. What the heck?! I don't know if they are just rinsing and reshipping returns or used products but that is absolutely gross. I will NOT be using these to fed my babies and I highly recommend you think twice before purchasing. As far as the functional aspect of the actual syringe, it does not have good control with the draw back. It's a no from me dawg.

I have tried different hand feeding syringes from aliexpress, shien and even from local pet stores but none came closer to this one, amazing quality and it makes life so much easier when it comes to handfeeding my baby birds, a must purchase if you are looking to handfeed baby birds

I'm a licensed songbird rehabber. Thought I'd try these syringes since they're highly re-usable and have good o-ring gaskets. There's little control/no resistance in the syringes & it's way too easy to feed way too fast. If you put the syringes in hot water to warm the formula inside, the metal that holds the plunger absorbs the heat and makes the formula way too hot (you must be very careful). Of the feeding tubes, only one is worthwhile as it has a rounded tip and holes on the side. All other tubes are silicone, but they're cut straight across (if that) and nothing is done to smooth that hard 90 degree angle edge. The silicone is soft, but not that soft that the edge wouldn't be sore/uncomfortable, especially after multiple feedings. The numbers on the plunger stems are hard to read and the lock nuts get moved extremely easily after you set them in place. These are not professional tools and have the potential to lead anyone to harming their birds.
