Direct Replacement
Used this for a livewell in my older Lund fishing boat. When changing the cable side, the tendency is to tighten the screw all the way. Don’t do that or the plastic actuator will be too hard to turn and will eventually break. Leave the screw slightly loose and it will shift back and forth much easier. The directions do not tell you that. Otherwise it works fine (now).

Valves easily get clogged and leak
I've had to replace mine twice in less than a year. The valves leak after a few months of use. I'm about to do this a 3rd time because the current valve is no longer sealing.***I was able to remove the aerator cartridge, flush everything, and get the valve to seal again. I will be adding a screen to the back of the boat. However, I don't think this will completely address the issue. It doesn't take much to cause the valve to leak.
