Celery, yes. Particularly, the Maryland Monroe flavor. But cross-contamination is possible.

For the black garlic biltong: Beef, red wine vinegar, salt, ground coriander, black garlic, rosemary,pepper, and monkfruit.

Your post assumes a lot and incorrectly so. (Maybe you are a competitor?) I have zero to do with this company other than I have bought products from them in the past and will in the future. Have you ever thought to do a little research on your own? They have a website with all the information you are looking for including the farms they source the meat from.

The hickory flavor is more smoky/spicy than sweet, but there is some barbecue-style sweetness. Try the dill flavor, if you want more of a sour/tangy profile. The hotter varieties aren't overpoweringly spicy, but enough to offset sweetness. None of the ones we tried are quite "just plain steak". All were pretty good to our tastes. If you want a sugar-free "just meat" flavor, Mission Meats sells some "Original Grass Fed Jerky" that's very tasty, if a little pricey. All of them are plenty high sodium, of course. My G.P. would warn me against them, but they're so darn good.

Don’t recommend

Whoever makes this has forgotten how to make food biltong. The Nelson Mandilla is the worst biltong I have ever tasted! Additionally it leaves a weird fatty aftertaste- the kind that makes your teeth feel like it’s covered in wax. The Darth Garlic is overpowering and not what a good biltong should be either, but at least it is edible and doesn’t have that fatty aftertaste.
