Why are you charging when it can be downloaded for free off the developers site, I smell a scam

Please note the software is provided on physical retail USB which is not available for free. Some customers prefer software on USB for a number of different reasons, along with the additional benefits and after sale support provided by PixelClassics.

This simulator is released under the GNU License, and as stated under 'product description', distributed by PixelClassics via this License. In summary it's software licensed as a download or low cost USB based software. The software on USB, along with future updates are available free of charge, but the cost of USB production, distribution, added value, product development, P&P, after sale customer service and quality control is not, and this is what our customers pay for.

There are many benefits to this package which are not included by default with the download.

1) Hundreds of aircraft that are not included by default with the download, plus links to download many more.

2) Custom PixelClassics PC installation menu giving easy access to installation, user manuals, my personal email support and more.

3) Exclusive PixelClassics installation guide, quick start guide and 200+ PDF user manual.

4) All software is fully scanned 100% virus clean via three leading security programs, AVAST, SuperAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes. Some people do not feel comfortable with downloads which are open to viruses and malware if not downloaded from original source, and this is one very good reason why some prefer to purchase a USB based version over free download.

6) Retail manufactured USB.

7) Full after sale support is provided. While there are support forums, any help there is voluntary and therefore you are not guaranteed to receive help, where as we are obliged to help and are always happy to do so. We answer all messages within 24h Mon-Fri, and continue to help until a suitable solution is found.

will this work on a newer mac computer if it doesent have a port for dvd?

Accepted Answer

Yes this is the USB version, so no DVD drive needed. You need a USB-A port to plug the USB into and install from there. If your Mac only has a USB-C port, you will need to use an adaptor (not included).

Is there a compatible Mac OS joystick that will work with this software?

Any of the latest joysticks that has been correctly setup on your Mac will work with this simulator.

With over 600 aircraft included and more being added all the time, there are too many to list here. If there is a particular aircraft you are interested in, please provide the name and I can confirm if they are included.
