Arcade Game Coin Door & Mechanical Coin selector - Mame, Jamma and Classic Arcade Games

These have worked just fine with no adjustments and overall happy. I do have tokens so this mech will not work without some modification if that's even possible. However you can buy a replacent mech from TwistedQuarters (google it) where you should be able to swap out with a mech that accepts tokens (0.984) and quarters for around 19 a pop. I have not ordered those mechs yet to test but I was informed they should swap out. I miss-read this, and with the the picture, was under the impression there were two coin selectors when I ordered. I would not have ordered, had I known it was only 1. I am posting this to help others.With that being said, it about as much plastic as metal in the construction. There is also some Asian text character in on the square coin button. You can't see that in the picture. Not sure about the electric switch, but I will be testing that soon.Update: - the electric switch works fine. I wish many of the parts were made of of metal instead of plastic.

The coin mech function works great, though there aren't any wiring instructions included with the item ... which would have been helpful to be included. I did have to add LED lights to the coin button, but that was easy enough to do and really helped with the retro aesthetic to it. They work well and fit perfectly in my original SEGA arcade machine, I didn't even have to drill new holes.

The coin mech is hi quality for the price. And does the job I need it too.
