Don’t wait 8+ years like I did if you own a Tacoma.
Why oh why did I not do this sooner to my Tacoma. If you’re taller than 6’2” this may have your head brush if you have a sun roof or if you are shorter and wear a tall hat. Beyond that there is no down side. Totally changed my Tacoma for long trips and even short ones. You will not regret this purchase.

Excellent fit and finish.
The price might seem high, but there is a good bit of machine work needed to make this. The fit and finish are first rate. I also bought the rear spacers to raise both front and rear of the seat equally. This is a high quality item.

Easy to install
These spacers raise the front of the seat. You will probably have to move the seat up to loosen back bolts. After you remove the front bolts and loosen back you can keep the front of the seat up in the air with the box these came in. The comfort level is better now, not sure on long term yet with aches or pains.

Noticeable difference
I'm 6'3 and these do help. I can tell the difference with my leg positioning. I don't notice my head being any closer to the roof. These do make a huge difference. Kinda pricey but I don't regret buying them.

Tacoma Base Model, BENCH SEAT: No Go
This review is only for gen 2, Tacoma with Bench Seat in the regular cab, base model !!!UPDATE 2-22-25:After a little more than a week with these, I couldn’t take it anymore with all the ducking my head at stop lights, etc. I was able to pull the steering wheel all the way out to avoid it making contact with my legs but this also made it less comfortable in having the steering wheel closer. Feels too crowded. So I went back to the stock configuration. Conclusion is that if you have a 2nd gen Tacoma with the bench seat, I would avoid the Seat JackersUPDDATE 2-12-24:I have determined that the raised seat compromises driving control / safety since the steering wheel is too close to my legs and due to the reduced visibility. Therefore, I have lowered my review to only a 3 star. If there was a height control on the bench seat, perhaps this would be different. Also due to the reduced visibility out of the top of the windshield, I experience neck pain as a result of ducking or cocked neck at stop lights in order to see when the light turns green. I am sure this would be a great product for Tacoma's with the independent bucket seats that do have the height control.ORIGINAL REVIEW 2-10-24:I have a 2012 Tacoma 2 door, Base model, 5 lug, with the single bench seat as opposed to the two independent bucket seats that most Tacos have. For the bench you only need two Jackers instead of four like the bench seats would need to lift them both. For the tight cab on the base model, wrench access was a little challenging but nothing serious. I found that after removing the two front seat bolts and loosening the two rear bolts, the bench seat needed to be rotated temporarily a bit during install to get the chair mounts out of the way. I have no torque wrench so I ‘wung it’ being sure not to over tighten which could strip the threads if not careful. I used a generous amount of blue thread locker on the original bolts and the bolts that came with the Jackers. Ok, job is done.First impressions are mixed as are final impressions. First thing I noticed was that my right leg barely squeezed past the seat and steering wheel as the seat is now an inch higher / closer. If my legs were any thicker, it would be a deal breaker. I’m 5’-10” and weigh 275 if that gives you any guide.Second impression was that my visibility was reduced. Drastically reduced? Well, visibility was already limited from the start, now I’ve lost even more upward viewing. Stop lights sometimes require ducking to see the light. The bench seat has no height adjustment like the buckets have. With the buckets people talk about not being able to get the seat up high enough without the Jackers and with them, they are able to use the height adjustment capability of the seat itself to bring the height back down. That’s one of the biggest downsides to the bench seat is no height adjustment. Part of the reason why the base model cost so much less I suppose. Now to discuss the whole reason for these things in the first place. Comfort. With the Jackers installed, it is much more comfortable. So much more comfortable that I’m willing to accept the tight pass below the steering wheel and the reduced visibility. The seat just now feels more supportive. I do still need to take a long drive before I am completely sold. I will update the review after that.So far, I suggest giving these things a whirl. Be sure to install them asap so you can have a little time to drive with them on and see if you want to keep them. For most women and many shorter men, there would be much less compromise. I don’t think these would be any help at all to tall people on Tacoma Base model with the bench seat but they may be appreciated by someone my size or shorter.

Best $100 spend ever!
I purchased a 23 Lexus Gx460 a couple of months ago and love it! However, over the last couple of weeks, I have noticed that the seating position leaves a lot to be desired. The IROC-Z stance does not give much support underneath my legs. I am 6ft 2, 200 lbs and deal with chronic back issues. After reading many reviews online, I decided to give the Seat Jackers a try. Installation took maybe 10 minutes, the online instructions were excellent. I was a bit skeptical of spending $100 but after testing it out, the seating position is now perfect. My legs are well supported and I actually fell like I'm sitting in the seat, not sitting on top.The Seat Jackers are very high quality and I feel worth the extra money over the copies. Well done!
