I recently got a new 3 legged thing tripod which came with Arca plate type head. It the first time I have used the Arca plate system, coming from the Manfrotto quick release system.I got this out of curiosity as I wondered why anyone used them. This one is very good value for money, well built and very nice finish to the L bracket. It fits my 3legged thing tripod head very well, better than the OEM plates. I quickly realised that I personally don’t have a use for an L bracket. However this one is good in that you can remove the short arm of the bracket and use both arms as individual Arca Swiss plates, two for one if you like.The Arca Swiss plate is not as useful, quick or secure as the Manfrotto quick release plates. But if you have a use for an Arca Swiss plate then this is a very good one. Very good value for money.

Great product and very well made. Got this for my Sony A7 and the colour is the same as the Sony's lens mount ring. But if you have the Sony LA-EA3 A mount lens adapter, then you cannot use it, as you can't fit the adapter with the bracked fitted on the camera base. So it has to be removed completely and not used again until you remove the adapter. N. Nicholas

I fitted this to a Panasonic G9 with grip attached. Surprised it actually fit but it did. I think I will take the grip of and just fit it to the Panasonic G9. The construction of this item is top notch. I really think this is super vague compared to other brands saving £49. Buy this.... Better value.I don't write reviews but this was worth my time and photo's.Just buy it.

Although a lovely looking bracket (orange) the screws provided are wholly inadequate to tie the two pieces of the L Bracket together. Fortunately, I had a box of small pc screws to hand and found some that secured the bracket with a far better degree of confidence. I would say that the quality of the bracket itself is good but the engineering and strength of the all the screws are lacking. Yet to test this as using it for a DSLR .

The quality and functionality of this product is very good and the quality it excellent. It provides a convenient way to mount your camera either portrait or landscape and can be used with tripods that have a ball head type screw lock. For my Nikon D3200 it fits well but does cover the battery compartment and the ports on the side but with a quick screw mechanism its easy to remove, replace the batter and screw back in. This product offers great value for money and appears good quality aluminium bracket.

Excellent quality L-bracket, made from good quality machined, not cast aluminium. Nicely finished and anodised in a lovely bright orange quality. No sharp or rough edges. Not quite as beautifully finished as my 3-Legged Thing bracket, but it costs a quarter of the price. The two parts clamp together and align well, and the bracket feels very sturdy and secure. Fits my Nikon Z6 II body very well. Overall very satisfied. Top marks!

I bought this for my Nikon D7500 and it fits well, has lots of mounting options for accessories on the upright portion. Be Warned though, the upright will block access to the side doors for a remote shutter or mic input, you also need to offset the baseplate if you want to access the battery compartment.Overall though, a well made solid bracket that you can trust to keep hold of your camera.
