I had some other reflectors but they were the circular kind that were kind of like car windshield sunshades. They wouldn't stand up on their own, and I always had to get my husband to hold them.These are perfect, because they fold, which allows them to stand on their own. I love that there's a reflective side and a black side for absorbing light. I haven't noticed any kind of weird color cast to my photos, either. For food photography, they're a good size, as long as you aren't shooting too large of a scene. I'm usually photographing a single recipe, and these work great for that purposes.

Sturdy, simple- hard to mess up. Wanted to pay less but cant complain about the quality so Im happy with my purchase.

This does a good job but the mirror reflective side scratches up easily. It does a nice job to enhance lighting though.

I don't know how to use this effectively but use it as a background for recording my hands. I guess it absorbes more light than other materials.

I was using bouncer with the collapsible reflector, Since i am a solo photographer, multiple adjustments with the flexible reflector required to change stands and angle. With Meking 3 in 1 reflector cardboard it can just stand next to the product.The photo indicates with white fills and black substract on my studio light, it works well, The black one enhanced the contrast of the detail of alice band well, I love it.For the price, it is not cheap, but this item is not just a cardboard, my first impression is sturdy, and easy of use. if you use it frequently, it will help you to make images more enjoyable.I ordered 2 one for 17x12 another for 12x8 , that will help me to use for different size of objects. We are looking for combo price for different sizes. that will be nice.

These 3 pictures are of one corner of the reflectors I received. The Amazon box was undamaged so I have no idea when this damage occurred. I returned them for an identical replacement. They came in an Amazon plastic bag. They were nowhere near as damaged as the first shipment, but damaged on one corner they were. Since the damage was only slight I decided to keep them. The manufacturer needs to package these cards differently to PROTECT the corners since there is no way to prevent or check for any damage once in the manufacturers packaging. And Amazon should always ship them in a BOX, not a plastic bag as this will also reduce the possibility of damage in shipping. Are you guys at Amazon hearing me? No more plastic bag for easily damaged goods! Other than all of that, they work as advertised.

I bring these to any photoshoot I go to or even in my studio I use them every single time. It makes the light reflects back on the product without a bad reflection I just really like it and I personally it’s a must haveThe big ones are better than the small ones depending on what kind of products you work with But both sizes are useful
