I never knew how dry my skin was until I started using this Herbivore PHOENIX facial oil. At the recommendation of my 28-year-old daughter, I decided to give it a try, and I love it! I found this product on an ad on instagram showing a tutorial of the CEO I believe using this oil with her foundation… I was worried if it would make me look TOO oily, as I have combination skin type… but I was graciously wrong!I used it with Forever Dior foundation and even mixed it in with my Born This Way concealer. It mixed beautifully and didn’t make my skin look to oil or feel heavy. I used about 2 drops for both mixings each, 2 for foundation and 2 for concealer.Adding the oil into your make up almost makes it’s actually set into your skin better than without it, thus helping it look less cakey which I love a good dewy skin no make up look.Something also to note is that it doesn’t make it crease too much, either. I actually thinks it helps crease less, because you can use less product and it goes a longer way. I’ve gotten so many compliments on my skin and make up ever since I’ve added this into my routine. Highly recommend!

This serum has been transformative for my skin! My skin has become visibly smoother and soften up my fine lines and improved my texture. It’s a permanent staple in my skin care regimen.

Recently I got a facial and 70% of the products they used were Herbivore and I instantly fell in love (and so did my skin). They used the Phoenix Oil on my skin and I loved the smell and feeling so I wanted to get a small travel size one for my gym/airport make up bag. So I ordered the mini roller ball Phoenix Oil and after just a couple of uses my skin (which is on the dryer side) feels amazing. Sometimes i'll use it before bed and when I wake up my skin is plump, glowing, and hydrated. I also use it when i'm blending out my foundation with a kabuki brush, to give my skin a more dewy appearance and keep it hydrated throughout the day (especially during winter). It's nice because it's more of a "dry" oil, meaning that you won't go to bed and stick to your pillow if you use it at night, it seeps in right away and goes straight to work!The ONLY reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is strictly because of the packaging. The roller ball makes it hard to use as an oil to mix with my foundation because I have to roller it out on the back of my hand and then wipe it off my hand with my brush. I guess you could roll is directly on your face but thats just not my style, it feels a little unsanitary. But again that has nothing to do with the product just the packaging.Next time, since i'm already in love with the product, I'll just order the full size bottle and transfer some of it to a small dropper bottle for travel purposes!

I absolutely love this. I use it in the daytime when i want some brightening and don’t want to put in makeup. It’s hydrating and brightening. I love how natural the ingredients are. Well worth it!

Love this product! It’s lightweight yet so hydrating on my skin. It’s great on my combination skin. It really does even out my skin tone and reduces redness.

Loved the oil for the first week or so, smells lovely but does leave an orangey tint, fyi. After several days I noticed my face was drier and my cheeks were getting more red. Eventually it looked as if I had a sunburn or rosacea. I discontinued use and the redness subsided, unfortunately the oil is a swing and a miss from me.
