Works great for washer spanner nuts
I'm an appliance technician and occasionally I will have to remove a washer basket which in some cases are held in with spanner nuts, in which case you will need a spanner wrench to remove. I had mine for 4 years and never had an issue with it. Only advice I can give you is to use a rubber hammer to break the nut loose, metal on metal hammering in a confined space will be brutal on your ears.

Ultimately happy with my purchase decision.
It fit and did exactly what I needed it to do at a reasonable price ... Ultimately happy with my purchase decision.

This is extremely important
You're gonna need this even if you only use it. What's the price is well worth it. Just remember this isnfor older models **NOT NEWER ONES** THIS IS TOO BIG FOR NEW MACHINES BY ABOUT ⅓ OF A INCH.

Crude but functional.
This tool was crudely made and finished to fit the drum nut on certain Whirlpool made clothes washing machines ( Whirlpool, Maytag, Sears, GE, etc.). properly. The plating on the surface was poor and already oxidizing. This TB123A tool is a spanner with four rectangular posts. A second circular part meshes with those posts and features a hex opening of 1 11/16" to create a tool for that style of nut. My Maytag required the use of the spanner since the drum nut was round and had four rectangular notches spaced equidistant around the perimeter. It did not have a hex nut. Happily this crudely cast tool fit the notches snugly and a heavy hammer was all that was required to strike the tool's arms and rotate the nut. I have read that some brands of spanner do not fit the nut well but this item fit without any sloppiness.I may never use the tool again but it was worth the approx. $18USD to be able to remove the drum nut from the transmission shaft

Wrenched Up!
This worked great to help tighten my hub to my washer. It made light work of what needed to be done.

Heavy tool doesn't fit quite right.
This was much heavier than I expected. I very pleased with that. The diameter of the nubs was a bit wider than the nut on my Kenmore, but I was able to make it work. The heftyness of the tool made it easy to tap with a hammer to remove and install the nut also. Overall, it got the job done much better than trying to use something like a pipe wrench.
