This is absolutely the best shampoo and conditioner for dry hair and scalp. It is very hydrating, without being greasy, and the amount of hair loss in the shower is significantly less.I am a redhead with long, thick hair that is very dry, and damaged, and dry scalp in the winter, and this shampoo and conditioner helps immensely.I thought I would switch it up and try the (more expensive) Paul Mitchell Awapuhi. It smelled great, but that was the only plus. It did NOT work for me. It made my hair very dull and the breakage and hair loss was horrible. I switched back to this set and within the first wash, I could notice the difference in my hair and scalp, plus half the hair in the drain.I highly recommend this shampoo and conditioner!

A little goes a long way. If you use too much, or have a sensitive scalp, you might feel a mild "burning" or "cold" sensation, but we love the way it smells and like the way it makes our hair feel.

I don't usually do reviews, but when I was ordering this; there was a lot of speculation about the product. Let me say before anything that only order products that are FULFILLED BY AMAZON!! I cannot stress this. I've shopped with Amazon for a long time and their service is remarkable! Buying a product that is not fulfilled by Amazon, is pretty much the same as ordering from eBay. You might get something you weren't expecting, broken, fake, etc.Now the product!This product when FULFILLED IS 100% authentic! My package came in a nice tight fit box, bubble wrapped extremely well, tape over the tops.I know it is authentic because I used to purchase from my hair salon for years and they recently shut down and I cannot find it anywhere for a good price. I seen the product on here and was very happy. :)The product does have a very strong tingling sensation to the scalp....THATS WHEN YOU KNOW ITS WORKING! It's not harmful, it's not burning you, etc. it makes you just feel amazing and your hair healthy. The tingling is the shampoo actually cleaning you scalp. The majority of shampoos don't even reach; let alone clean your scalp.For the best results my routine is to get my hair wet, apply shampoo moderately aggressive making sure you get the shampoo to the scalp and massage it for 30 second to a minute ( if you have a really smelly scalp, let he shampoo sit and massage it for about 3-5 minutes.), rinse the shampoo, apply conditioner and gently massage into the hair. Now let the conditioner sit for a while. Shave, wash your body, etc. after you are done with everything else, finally rinse the conditioner and dry off.This stuff is amazing and Amazon has done another amazing job with service :)

I first heard about this shampoo and conditioner when my 17 yr old son came home from getting a haircut at the Salon. Let's just say, life at our house will never be the same! This is a child who never really says much about anything, much less shampoo and conditioner. He raved and raved about these products and even wanted me to touch his hair because it was "so amazing and so soft!" I figured if this kid was this impressed with a hair product he deserved it!I went to the Salon to purchase it and after seeing how much it was, went right to Amazon instead. Having smelled the product at the Salon, I can assure you that the product I received was exactly like the one in the store. I used it, and there is a definite tingling sensation which is nothing crazy, but actually quite nice. I saw that lavender was one of the ingredients and it kind of turned me off because I am NOT a fan of lavender, but the scent of this duo is predominantly peppermint which is absolutely divine. The scent wafts through the house when the kids are in the shower and I just love it. It leaves your head feeling invigorated and although that sounds kind of lame, it's true and really quite nice.Needless to say, my other two teenage boys immediately started using it and it is a complete hit with them. I last purchased this in February and with three teenage boys using it, it lasted over 7 months which I think is pretty darn good! But don't misunderstand me, this scent is not in any way "manly," it's just a scent that guys could indulge in without feeling "girly."I've used a lot of high end shampoos and conditioners through the years, (I'm a sucker, what can I say) and I really believe that 90% of them have been a complete waste of money. This one at least offers something tangible and different. You can "feel" it when you use it and the smell is amazing! I will definitely repurchase this set!I absolutely depend on reviews before I spend my hard earned money. I hope this review helps!
