Good Net
Works Good for catching annoying flies. We have flies everywhere in our house (happens every spring) so far the best has been mason jarring them from the ceiling one at a time. This net lets me catch about 7 at a time and let me catch them mid air.The net is a good quality seems nice and strong, the only negative is that it has a slight unpleasant smell that I am sure will go away with time.

Durable!
Finally! A net that is durable enough to withstand my tiny adventurers (aka my 4 young children). They love taking their nets with them to the lake, creek, and more. The ability the adjust the length has been so helpful with critter that are further off shore. My daughter caught a huge bullfrog with the net and I was pleased with how well it held up, even with the jumping around and pressure from the large bullfrog. The ability to then shorten the net makes storage quick and simple.

Great for Catching Bugs
We try to be kind to nature and if there's a crane fly or moth in the house we prefer to catch it to bring it outside. We had a previous net with a shorter wand. This one is great. It has a nice long wand so you can get into high corners. Also, it swoops through the air quite easily to grab the bug before it vanishes into a curtain or behind a shelf.A downside is the mass of the net is light, so once you get a bug inside it, it's more challenging to get the bug out of the net when you go outside. With the other net we could just "swipe" the net in the opposite direction, it would turn inside-out, and the bug would be free. With this one, when you swipe in the opposite direction, the net itself can just hang and not invert itself. So it's a bit more challenging. There is also a 3-inch slit near the wand where the net does not connect in. We thought at first that might be a problem, but in actual use it hasn't posed an issue for us.A great useful net for our purpose.

Works as Described
So far this is a great tool for catching wild grasshoppers for my tarantulas. got the small strap on insect holder separately and it's working out very perfectly.. ty

Great for skimming fish ponds
I bought this to use as a skimmer for my small fish pond. The holes are small enough to hold algae chunks and the aluminum frame is strong enough that it doesn’t collapse with the weight of the water. The extension pole is great.

Flimsy
This is a flimsy net. For a serious bug collector this is not your net. If this is something you only want for the kids to make it through the summer--than this the net. I bought this for my teen who is developing an obsession with bug collecting. It probably won't last 6 months before we will have to upgrade. The handle is extremely flimsy. The netting could be a bit smaller but for a first net its okay.

Love this net catcher.
I bought this because sometimes hummingbirds get on our screened in porch. They tend to go up high and are hard to get. Icatch them with this and take them back out and let them go. 😀
