ECTY Creative Explosion Box -Scrapbook DIY Photo Album Box for Birthday Anniversary Valentine Day Wedding(Upgrade Version).

The only negative thing to this was the tape that came with it. I just bought double sided tape separately and it was perfect! Super cute and easy to build if you watch the instructional video.

The box arrived requiring minimal assembly: just folding up the lids and using the included double-sided tape to assemble the inner box. I found the included instructions perfectly clear, but the YouTube videos had some great ideas for customizing it. It was a lot of fun to put this together, and it was spectacular when finished. One thing I discovered that wasn't noted by others is that the outer two rings of "petals" for photographs are actually envelopes as well, so you can insert things like gift cards, cash, or other small flat items in addition to putting a gift in the central box. The LED lights don't have an on/off setting, so they come on as soon as you insert the batteries. I was concerned because I intended to mail the box and wanted the lights to be on when my sister opened it. But I did a test run first, and with good AA batteries the lights were still running after 10 days! So no problem mailing it unless it's going overseas or something.

I seen the “exploding” box thing on Pinterest. Where you cut the sides of nesting boxes and double sided tape candy and lottery tickets to the walls. I liked the idea but didn’t want to do candy because I already planned on making a box of chocolates and strawberries. I searched nesting boxes on here and found this. I loved it! I figured it was the perfect gift for Valentine’s Day and I was right! My fiancé loved it and was so appreciative. It took me a few hours to make because some thought needed to go into the layout of photos and what pictures would work best on what sizes compared to others. I ordered 38 photos and used about 22-24 of them - some photos I used for two panels by cutting the photo in half. I used all 4x6 photos. It comes with double sided tape but I only used that to construct the small box in the center. I used a scrapbook tape pen to “glue” the photos down.

The media could not be loaded. I thought the box was super easy to use it came already assembled which made it that much easier and it’s really good quality. Overall I recommend, I feel the lights are alittle unnecessary but it is an extra thing to add the only thing is you’d have to reopen and close the box to turn them on and in my finished box I added a letter and I put the bow on so you’d just have to redo.

So easy to put together. Double sided tape is provided, it is very good quality. I ended up needing more tape for amount of pictures I used. Sizing can be difficult for pictures and size of squares but i just cropped some images. Does not come with flowers as in photos and lights don not come with battery. Overall 100% worth the purchase.

My son gave this to his girlfriend and it was a huge hit! He put a necklace in the last box as her gift. The added lights made it extra special. We used “OddPrints” website to print all of the different sized photos and he decorated all of the box tops. Finding this photo website allowed him to easily crop all of his pictures into the necessary small sizes for each of the boxes. Sizes (in inches) we used: 2.25x3.5, 2.75x4, 3.5x4.5, 4x5, and for the outside of the largest box we used 4x4. Hope this help others. Highly recommend this box...it turned out beautiful! The OddPrints website allows you to print through them or download the cropped photos to print elsewhere. It was a huge help and made this gift project much easier.

Looking at the pieces it comes in and the pictures when buying, it looks a bit complicated, but when I actually got the box, it was very easy to figure out. The box has 4 layers (so you can tape or glue 24 pictures) and then a small box that goes in the center. It is a choice to tape the small box in though. It can hold something small like a ring ;) It can hold something bigger than a ring box though, to be honest. On the outer 2 layers, there are pockets that you can put notes in. So I just wish the outermost layer's pockets could fit regular envelopes in it (because it would be cute if the receiver could pull out letters I wrote).

The media could not be loaded. There’s no need of instructions because is super easy to assemble! This is such a beautiful gift to give. (I haven’t finish mine yet hehe)
