Great Mini Entrenching Tool - Would Be Better If Not From china
I normally do NOT knowingly buy ANYTHING made in china. NOTHING. I came across these and bought two based strictly on the reviews. When they arrived, I was thoroughly impressed with the fit and quality of the materials. The carry case is a little flimsy, but I was primarily interested in the entrenching tool. Perfect for my get home bags! Would have given it 5 stars if made somewhere other than our Lex Luther!! I bought two more for all my emergency bags.

ive used this SOG E TOOL for over 5 years. Used this instead of CIF issued ETool. Worked great with no issue at all. Still going strong. Just bought a second one as a gift. It is well priced great tool to keep in your vehicle.

Inexpensive, lightweight and compact shovel that susceptible to breaking no response from warranty.
I bought the smaller version. It is smaller then army surplus trench shovels or clones of such which can be a positive or negative depending on your needs. It was a great lightweight and compact shovel to carry around and its fits perfectly in backpack during hikes. I had it in my pack for a year.It's easy to assemble and dissemble, perfect for clearing debris or clearing a trail but it's no replacement for a larger full size shovel. It's decent quality until it broke after some use. I contacted SOG (GMS) who claims life time warranty and have yet to receive a response from them after a week or so that's some points docked off.
