Tooth Paste is great brush not so great. The finger brush only has a few nubs on one side for brushing. The handled brush has become a chew toy. The tooth paste on the other hand is awesome. dog loves it. my dog is fussy about everything but brushing her teeth has become a breeze.

This product is often recommended by veterinarians as the go-to for feline dental care. I am pleased with the product in the fact that it does what it is supposed to. However- the fish flavor does not entice my kitties! Logan hates it and will scratch to get away, Orion tries to get away but tolerates it and Moony is always trying to meow the whole time like I just committed the ultimate kitty parent sin! Alas, I am a concerned pet parent so I continue to try! Especially since there aren't very many competitors on the market right now. What every kitty parent should know is that feline oral care is very important because your cat can get gingivitis which can lead to tooth loss and heart issues. Not to mention cavities that can eat at the base of the crown causing holes through the molars of the teeth. You may notice while brushing that kitty has calculus (plaque) by looking at the back upper and lower cheek teeth. It appears brown and hard. It will not come off with brushing and the cat will need to go to the veterinarian for dental cleaning. However, if you start on this program regularly you can help avoid this. Also a meat based wet diet will help with dental care as well. The product does come with your choice of weapon (lol). A slightly harder clear "finger brush" which I deem useless due to the size of the feline mouth, and the white little toothbrush that is about 2 1/2 inches long with a bent head. This works pretty well. You also get a large tube of toothpaste that I can see lasting awhile because all you need is a pea size dollop.What I would like to see by taking the "at home dental care" further is a toothbrush case and some kind of hands free disinfectant so the brush isn't just sitting in my medicine cabinet like it is now. Call me a germaphobe but cats mouths are extremely germy and I like the idea of having a ready to go sterilized brush for next use. Also, it would be nice to have a little stand or something of that nature so that when you are wrestling kitty the toothbrush doesn't get knocked off of a table and you have toothpaste everywhere. To work and create products for animals we must understand animals! All in all I will say that this product is pretty decent and worth the money.

Our puppy loves this toothpaste. He genuinely gets excited when he sees us putting it onto the toothbrush. He starts to lick it off the brush first and then we gradually start to brush his teeth and gums. We do it every night, and we notice that it significantly improves the smell of his breath. It’s amazing honestly. Glad we found this (recommended by our vet) and we will keep using for sure.

I use this toothpaste and short end of toothbrush on my Chihuahua every single night before bed. Her oral health has stopped deteriorating. Prior to this product I used gave her high quality chews, nightly (still do) but tarter & bad breath progressed, anyway. I suggest brushing your dogs teeth as it will significantly lower canine dental bills. My girl has a beautiful healthy mouth, today from this product including breath breath - always & gum recession, redness, gone.

We adopted a feral cat from a shelter about a year ago. We took her to a vet for a complete check up and she needed the tartar removed from her teeth. It was way more expensive than getting my teeth cleaned so we went online to Amazon and decided on "Virbac C.E.T. Oral Hygiene Kit for Cats and Dogs". First, you never really get a feral cats complete trust. My Husband squirted some of the paste on the finger brush and attempted to get it near her teeth. It's been a few weeks now and our cat loves the taste and consistency of the poultry flavored paste so while she's busy licking it off the finger brush, my Husband brushes what tooth surfaces he can get to. This is an Enzymatic Toothpaste with 30,000 ratings. Our cat has had zero issues with it, she loves the stuff. We are going to keep using this and see what the vet says on her next check up!
